To preface:I'm a NSFW artist / animator who started in 2020, I was a complete and total beginner. In the first couple of years I had less than 2000 followers, currently I have around 500k. I earn around 7.5-14k USD a month through various platforms such as patreon, and commissions.I am making this post so I can possibly help anyone who wishes to earn money with their art, or just for anyone who would like any advice from someone who started as a total beg but now has a sizable following and making a decent living with my art. Yes it's NSFW art, but I am sure that some of what I've learned over the years can be useful to people in the SFW space too.I frequented /ic/ from about 2018-2021(ish).
Here is my twitter engagement from the past year. This is not to brag, it's not as high as it could be, but this is just for the sake of showing you I do have a following.
>>7905698buy an ad.
which drawing tablet do you use ? i was wondering to buy wacom ctl 672, or xp pen deco L as they are in my budget, can you suggest similar good drawing tablet without screen ? don't have much money for intuos pro series
what does your client base look like ?mostly troons/futafags?what is the demographics niggawho pays the most in volume?
>>7905701I have been using a wacom intuos pro large PTH-860 since I first started and haven't used anything since, it's all I know so I don't have much to compare it to I'm afraid. You may be able to find a good deal on one used, it's lasted me very very many hours of use
>>7905702I have never drawn furry, I don't really ask them many questions, I often just take commissions through discord or twitter. Often they are repeat clients who either commission a lot of different artists to draw the same character over and over or they just particularly want me to draw for them over and over. The best clients are the ones who particularly like one character. the WORST and I mean WORST!!! clients are the ones with complex OCs. They are the choosiest beggars on earth, avoid them as to not waste your own time.
>>7905698How do you avoid getting banned in patreon?
>>7905705what genre do you do mostly?is it like pre-set repeated loops that you swap out the hair/eye color or is it more personalizedd you demand reference from your gooner clientele for what they need done?how do you segregate pricing is it lineart/color/render etccan you post a sample or price sheet of what a certain amount of money would get me quality wise? Also what software do you use/ what is your stance on VA work(fo u collab with anyone for sound)?also how do you animate cum? (fluids are notorously annoying to get right)
>>7905698What books/resources did you use to learn to draw NSFW art specifically? There's a shitload of resources on anatomy but not much on porn that I could find beyond just copying artists I liked. Also resources that you would consider good in general would be nice
>>7905707No, but they have sent me warnings. One thing to keep in mind in their case is to avoid expressions of rape, and to make sure the body proportions aren't childlike. They don't care if the character is canonically an adult (think Tatsumaki) they just care how big their head/body ratio is, the development of their figure etc.>>7905708>what genre do you do mostly?I pretty much do everything that could be considered fairly vanilla. I have a particular character archetype that I enjoy and my followers seemed to come to enjoy as well.>is it like pre-set repeated loops that you swap out the hair/eye color or is it more personalizedNo, nothing is template-itized. It's all bespoke>d you demand reference from your gooner clientele for what they need done?how do you segregate pricing is it lineart/color/render etcI need references to get a specific idea for what they want, sometimes the clients give me artistic freedom instead which is nice. I only do fully rendered artworks, so no I don't have different price tiers.>can you post a sample or price sheet of what a certain amount of money would get me quality wise?I don't really have a price sheet and I don't necessarily want to advertise here, but my price per illustration is typically in the ballpark of 300-400 USD. They are often illustration "sets" with many variants.>Also what software do you use/ what is your stance on VA work(fo u collab with anyone for sound)?also how do you animate cum? (fluids are notorously annoying to get right)I use Clip Studio Paint for all art or frame-by-frame animation (EX), I use Live2d for Live2d animations, and I use Adobe Premiere Pro for final edits, sound mixing and post-fx. I almost always hire a VA. Something no one talks about is how hard it is to find a good voice actress for NSFW work. Animating cum is really really easy. You just need to watch porn and skip single frames to see how it goes through the air and lands on the body.
>>7905709You are right, there really aren't many resources on it. But if you think about it, it really is just applied anatomy. For me, what has helped me the most over the years is finding an artist or artist(s) that draw how you want to draw, and try copying their art 1:1 occasionally. If you can gain access to their PSD or CSP file then even better. Just use it as a master study. I have learned the most from that.In the case of good study material, the only one I used consistently and with the most success is Morpho simplified forms. I drew every single image in the book. *very* early on I did drawabox or Peter Han's dynamic sketching course. Other good resources are lessons on colosso (there's quite a lot), and just watching artists drawing processes on youtube (who draw how you want to draw). Sometimes it's nice to just see their process because you often find shortcuts.Perspective made easy and "how to draw" is pretty good too, especially for perspective.
>>7905698Damn, I also started in 2020 but am still stuck in /beg/ territory. Sometimes I do have doubts whether I should keep going, it seems that I don't have the talent or gene or whatever it is.
>>7905711not them, but i have a similar question, if you wouldn’t mind.i’m thinking of finishing and uploading a fully rendered tasteful but brief looping animation that just shows a kiss, but from the expressions and lighting, rape is definitely heavily implied, even if nothing is shown. i’ve never posted to social media, so of these, do you know which platforms (here listed in order of preference) i could post this sort of thing on without censure: >x, tumblr, bluesky, youtube, tiktok, pixiv, patreonor should just give up posting my nsfw stuff to a normal art site? (because a lot of my nsfw art features a canonically toxic couple)thanks so much for any feedback
>>7905698Do you tutor people? I'm a bit of a beg but getting close to int. And I'm looking for a based artist to take me under his wing and give me honest critiques
>>7905730Obviously I won't ask you to tutor me for free
>>7905698can you post something that's representative of your current skill level? Some abandoned wip or somesuch if you don't want to reveal yourselfalso, what did you start with (fanart I assume)?
>>7905713The eldritch tome that is how to draw huh. Every time I open it I shit my pants from terror due to how technical it is. I'll try giving it a serious go sometime I suppose. Thanks for the recs
>>7905713>colosoCan you recommend some courses? I had a look and it seems to get very expensive very fast if I pick a few
>>7905698Do you take loli/shota commissions? Or will Patreon hunt you down if you dare to do anything like that even outside their platform?
>>7905698How do you manage your time? Most of the time, I only work with one client, yet I often feel as if I'm doing nothing but working on his commissions. Also, what do you do when a client wants a comic? How do you decide how much to charge them?
>>7905731I'd help but thats completely dependent on where you're at, lemme see
This thread is going to explode the moment that one schizo wakes up
how often do you post online? and would you give me a critique on my year progress from starting to where im at roughly now?
>>79056981) At what age did you start?2) Did you have **any** preconditions for art?3) Did you finish drawabox?4) How much do you care about your lines? How much retries do you spend on a single line on average?>I frequented /ic/ from about 2018-2021(ish)5) Why do you tell that you've started in 2020 then?6) How do you do your taxes/legal work?7) Your stance on "cubes" vs "copying" ?8) Did you start at 10-20-40$ comm range and go higher from there? Do you feel that AI has butchered that range nowadays or not? As you took off in 2022-2023, do you feel now that you've caught the last train?
>>7905698By any chance, are you looking for assistants?I started out in 2020 and built up a following and a base of regular clients, but by 2024, commissions started to drop off, and I haven't been able to bounce back. In the meantime, with commissions dwindling, a friend who's a comic book colorist offered me work doing flat colors and shading, so I've been working as an assistant for several years now.
>>7905698How do you grow your twitter from scratch
>>7905699Teach me how senpai, i started using twitter a week ago. I don´t want to get into politics and ragebait but it seems inevitable.
Are u Europe based? How do u deal with taxes? And fees from every platform
>>7905728Honestly, either get serious or be content with not being an artist, it's the harsh truth. If you are a beg 5 years in you need to evaluate why you aren't improving, I call it self-auditing. It's something I do on a fairly regular basis>>7905729pixiv>>7905730post your work and I'll give you my honest feedback>>7905732I don't have any abandoned wips that are any good but here's a little collage of sketches I liked from the past couple of months>>7905736It's good for learning how to make perspective work. I only got about halfway through and quit out of disappointment of him never explaining how to apply 3 point perspective (I'm serious), but there's some good fundamentals and ways of looking at perspective mentally that helped a lot.
>>7905761Fundamentals of Stylized Character Art by Magoon was decent but never finished it, but I can tell it's helpful. and From Shapes to Characters: Core Skills and Strategies for Anime Illustration by Nekojira (also still in progress)>>7905818no>>7905836I keep a journal and log my starting and ending time for chunks of time I spend drawing, animating, or editing, then "grade" myself on efficiency 1 point per 10% up to 100%example: 2:32pm-4:15 pm @ 85% = 107minutes/60minutes = 1.7hrs x 8.5 points : 15 points. My minimum goal for a week is 250 points. I have also found keeping a journal that is very organized along with keeping a lot of art to-do and goals helps tremendously. I am someone who thrives in an organized environment. For lack of better phrasing it's basically a quest log in a video game.>>7905854I try to make 2-3 new illustration or animation posts on twitter and pixiv per week. sure pyw.
>no one asking for blogSounds like a larp honestly or just coming here to brag for some weird as fuck reason.
>>79058731 - In terms of drawing in general, probably around 2 years old. For anime-style-art and nsfw art, around 14 years old. For getting serious and posting on social media and trying to actually grow a following and earn money, I was 23. I am 29 currently.2 - If you mean prior experience, yes.3 - No I stopped around the part with plants, then used Peter Han's Dynamic Sketching and didn't finish that either. The best things I learned were basic perspective, 3d forms, and line-control4 - I like this to be pretty clean and I like to have nice line weight. I don't spend a large amount of time on lines, though. I learned to draw one line really really well and just rotate my canvas constantly.5 - because I created my social media profile that earns my living around 20206 - I have an LLC and use Zen Business for that. I file all my own taxes, I just learned the basics of tax filing as I went and did my deductions to the best of my ability. I am going to be making an S-Corp soon so I can avoid the self-employed taxes.7 - I don't exactly know what you mean by this8 - I started at around 100 or so, I think that's fair if you have even some amount of skill. Yes, AI has somewhat reduced the number of commissions will get, but the kind of people that value hiring artists and will pay very large sums of money for it are not the same people who would just make ai art. To survive AI you need to bring something unique to the table, a "thing".>>7905876I have entertained the idea of having someone handle the more tedious parts of animation such as segmenting files for import into live2d, or sound editors. I really wish there was a reliable program for automating posting to patreon, x, and pixiv but there are none that I am willing to trust.
>>7905948>I try to make 2-3 new illustration or animation posts on twitter and pixiv per week. sure pyw.
>>7905887If I were starting right now this would be my list of priorities:#1 - Get really good at drawing - as good as you possibly can. Focused study as much as you have time for. Don't burn out, but treat art like you actually care about improving, your art being good is pretty much the MOST important priority#2 - find a niche - the most important way to survive the current social media landscape is to have something that is *you*, now.. it has to be a niche that other people actually *like*, it can't just be something only *you* like. A lot of people get caught up in that. However, if you follow enough artists you'll notice they all have something unique about their approach to design, art style, fetish, archetype, story-telling etc. If what you're doing isn't working, reel it in a little and make it more general.#3 - networking - This is fairly important and necessary. Networking is as simple as replying on other artist's work, or sometimes sending them a kind DM. Sometimes you can draw fanart of someone's OC with their @ in the title and sending them a DM of your artwork of their character, this can be a good first boost and it helped me very much early on. I evolved into doing live2d animations of other people's artwork and that was my big break initially, people started mostly following me for animation after that. This comes with a catch-22 however, you may just be known as "guy who animates other people's art" if you aren't also doing your best to cultivate your new and growing fanbase. Also, finding RT groups helps or RT for RT with some people; this does NOT pull as much weight as you may think it would, but it helps for a good little initial algo push.#4 - CONSISTENCY AND PERSISTENCE - This is last but NOT least in any way, you NEED to be persistently posting, your themes need to at least be tangentially related to each other at least 80% of the time. The other 20% you can just have fun with.Good luck!
>>7905896Why would being an artist have anything to do with "getting into politics or ragebait"? My advice would be to make sure your priorities are straight and that what you're pursuing artistically is true to your own wants and needs. I mean you *could* be a political satirist or something but that sounds miserable.>>7905906Nope, USA. I deal with taxes by filing them under an LLC simple-as. Use ai to help you filling out your taxes by asking it "what can be a deduction for xyz?" and stuff like that. I probably pay around 30% in taxes, but I am using an IRS monthly installment plan to ease the tax burden a bit. I pay around $500 a month in these payments and currently owe about 40-50k in taxes.
>>7905968I'd say your progress is fairly strong, I don't know how many hours you spent drawing in total last year, but I will say that your forms over all got a lot better at the end of the year. The gestures have a decent flow and movement in your most recent works. I would recommend getting more serious now, your sketches are good, now you're ready to refine everything; do some lineart for your sketches and learn color, value and composition.I get a weird sense that you feel kind of aimless right now as an artist, that's fairly normal, but you need to have a real goal in mind for why you're doing this. Start giving that some real thought and your work will improve with it being oriented in the direction for which you want it to go.
>>7905976My original goal was just reaching some high level of skill with goals in character design but im kinda just having fun with it.>AimlessKinda spot on. I just draw random stuff since I've made it a habit to draw every night when i get back from school. Right now im kinda going through bridgeman to get a more solidified understanding of the human body and from there I'll probably go into colour. I understand value since i did do an indepth study month on it, but idk how it actually works with colour.
how did you get so many followers ? i'm stuck a 1K (on X and 4K on pixiv) i have okay ish skill pic related is mine do you post often ? do you reach on other artist post that have the same stuff you draw ?i'm hesiting to not fully post nsfw on x because shadow ban . do you ? should i wait until have enough visisblity before paywalling some art .?i stopped posted a bit on X (currenly making a buffer for art when i'm returning) money wise i just want to make a bare-minum i just go a 1K futa comic commission but it just a one time so it still noway near my needs Thanks you in advence
>>7905989>>7905970 i just saw that about sorry dont reponse to the question that the same anwser
>>7905873 (me)>>79059617) I believe it's /ic/beg archetypes"cubes" - dude has been drawing cubes, perspective, gestures, etc for 3 years -> can't draw characters"copying" - dude has been copying arts or refs for 3 years -> can't draw from imagination, can't construct>>7905946damn so yummy>>7905958how do you think what's the propability he'd post his blog?
>>7905946-729 here, thanks very much!
>>7905698How someone can get an actual comprehention of space, as if you are using a 3D program on paper?I find exremely hard doing dynamic figures, redoing a figure from another angle, but even just mirroring the drawing.Thank you very much.
>>7905698do u draw from wrist or from shoulder?do you rely on refs or going primarily from imagination?
>>7905698What was your posting frequency roughly over the years and what were your posting plans to get there? E.g. if you plan out a set of drawings to post weekly and you draw all of them within a day or two, things like that
>>7905989>how did you get so many followers ?generally speaking, through animation. Less generally, drawing and animating the right character at the right time. Often picking a character who I like who's currently trending and making something as high quality as I can of them. This does not always work, but when it does it works well.>do you reach on other artist post that have the same stuff you draw ?I don't really know what you mean>i'm hesiting to not fully post nsfw on x because shadow ban . do you ? shadowbanning is 1/2 paranoia and 1/2 partial truth. The only surefire way to truly be shadowbanned is to genuinely break really big rules, or to include links or words like "patreon" in the title. this REALLY hurts reach.. bad. Do not do that. Also do not write p@tR30n or something like that because misspellings also trigger a deboost, the best course of action is advertising other platforms within the art itself or within an image.>should i wait until have enough visisblity before paywalling some art .?There is no reason not to do it now. You may go a while without support, but that doesn't matter. Just make your patreon / fanbox / subscribestar or whatever now. Any delay is just procrastination.>>7905873>7) Your stance on "cubes" vs "copying" ?if what the other anon says is correct, then my conclusion is that those guys are either really low IQ, or that they are being incredibly stubborn and not actually really putting mental energy into their practice. Practice isn't like rote repititon, you have to be in the moment and really be trying.
>>7905995np>>7906004You have to consciously practice. There are thousands of guides on perspective drawing on the internet.>>7906005unfortunately, probably wrist, but I am trying to draw more with my shoulder, I have developed some nerve/tendon issues over the years.Regarding imagination or refs: I draw from reference 95% of the time. I have been consciously choosing to draw more from imagination, I was surprised that I am better at it than I thought I would be. Don't be afraid to use refs but don't copy 1:1, make sure you're adding your own taste>>7906023I'll be honest, it can be all over the place. I have a lot more responsibilities now than I used to have so I kind of have to just do it when I can, I have fallen behind in posting frequency a bit, but if I got it back to how it used to be and/or how often I think it should be, I would be posting original new content at least 2-3 times a week. Some can be from image sets, short doujins, or clips from long-form animations.
>>7905700Kill yourself>>7905698Finally. A good fucking thread.
I wish I had talent. I've been seriously drawing since OP was probably in elementary school and I still struggle to make more than maybe a couple hundred a month. In fact it seems like my art has degraded over the past 5 years and I get even less traction than I used to.
>>7905946Im looking at this and have a question immediately: do you draw NTR?
>>7906068Well, read my advice in the thread, you can use that to your benefit.>>7906075no
>>7905730>post your work and I'll give you my honest feedbackAlright here's a WIP of mine. I've been drawing since last December and been grinding fundies everyday. I don't have that many finished pieces because I struggle with hard poses and environments and stuff. I hope I can be int by next year atleast.
>>7906096I know batman's head sucks . I'm planning on redrawing it
>>7905698I don't have time to read this thread right now. Just wanted to say thank you, and I hope you'll stick around so I can pick your brain later if my questions haven't already been answered.
>>7906096Not bad, good shadow blocking and clothing folds etc. The hand holding the ear looks a bit off. I guess my question for something like this is "what are your goals"
>>7906106I hope I can gather a big social media following I guess. But mostly drawing for pleasure, and also being able to monetize that shit eventually but honestly mostly for pleasure and to impress friends and stuff. But right now my main goal is to be an advanced artist. As advanced as this dude I guess
>>7906110Heres another artists that like they kinda represent the level I want to reach
>>7906110If you're doing it for yourself than you have a lot of freedom, that's always the benefit of that. If you want to monetize, you will have to work extremely hard. Good luck.
>>7906113I'm doing it for myself but in my head social media is like a good indicator of your skill level imo, so I'm primarily focused on that but it's still a hobby at the end of the day so I'm not willing to be entirely consumed by it. But right I wanna be able to eventually make shit like pic related, irregardless of being able to monetize or not So I've got no clue if my goals are unrealistic or not
Your politeness is very funny
>>7906113And how do you eventually monetize your artwork? Do you have to gather a large social media presence and then use that for self promotion or did you run ads ?
>>7906113But you're right monetization feels tedious. I guess my goal would be to gather some media following and impress people and maybe the occasional commission What's the path to achieving my goal?
>>7905958what? you're telling me someone would just go online and lie?>I have around 500k [followers]>supposed engagement screenshot says 397
>>7905958So you can bitch and ask him to retweet your garbage art?
>>7905698Post what you deem to be your best artwork.
>>7905946Really goes to show that engagement doesn't equate to skill, you just need to know how to wrangle the algo and coomersbottomline is just do porn
>>7906134Being ~20% off is within human biological norm
>>7906145Sherlock fucking Holmes kek.
>>7905958It's pretty obvious it's a larp from the filenamesthe reason people in /ic/ don't grow is that they're gullible retards
Lets assume its a LARP, the advice he is giving is genuinely good and sound, so I dont see why are you guys complaining.
>yeah its a larp hehe whataboutit? stop complaining D:<I don't see why you niggers never use that logic when anyone dares crit some literal who that happens to make the pornography. Also if you wanted to prove the advice to be good and true from a place of authority, doesn't pretending to be the authority you are not, not automatically invalidate anything you say?Ok, maybe it's not a larp, maybe it's just a troll baiting the autists into posting their works.I mean, just go shoot down syndrome puppies at that point, practically the same thing
>>7906145and what are you going to do about it, faggot?>>7906175wants to join some "secret artist following club", these faggots don't want actual advice. You even see this retarded shit at a wider scale on social media and you see these small artist bitching about not getting any attention.
>>7905703what monitors have you paired with the intuos large? size or resolution 1080p, 4k, anything to say about them? I also use a 2013 intuos large and my 10 year old 24'' monitor is going to die anytime soon.
>>7905698Is posting fanart really the most optimal way to grind followers and engagement?
>>7906199LG 32UN880-B 32" Ultrafine Monitor Ergo UHD 4K. Unfortunately it's been discontinued afaik, but it comes with an extremely articulate swivel arm that's very useful when paired with a standing desk. 4k is preferable. For a period of time I was drawing with 1080p but you really realize what you're missing when you go back to 4k. When you get a new monitor, do your best to find one with at least 10-bit color depth, it's a pretty big difference. It's pretty much standard now but at the time it was kind of pricey. One thing people don't mention enough is how important calibrating your monitor's colors are. I only recently found out that if the color space you export work on in CSP (you will most likely choose your color space with the most depth) to twitter (only sRGB color space), it will come out significantly less saturated. When calibrating I often compare it to my phone and other screens if I can help it. Your aging monitor could quite literally be causing you to make rendering mistakes, I found that out the hard way. early on I did everything on a kind of ratty monitor and looking back all my contrast was totally blown out, but at the time it looked normal on my shitty monitor.
>>7905970>you NEED to be persistently posting,This is mainly what's been putting me off from starting a social media account, that apparent pressure to constantly be posting feels manipulative and a bit like a threat that'd always be looming over me.My problem is that I do longer form animations, I'm not finishing these works weekly. Is it really that bad if you fall into a slump, like is it a permanent mark against you?Would uploading WIPs and progress updates be a good supplement then, or would that hurt me if the algorithm considers it 'low quality'
>>7906213NTA, but you constantly see animators uploading either snippets or straitght up WIP in between their animations, at least the ones that are REALLY good at it, I think Kamuo used to do that IIRC, so yeah, WIP are good cannon fodder.
>>7905705>I have never drawn furryThis gives me great hope.
>>7906208I think in a general sense, yes fanart is the key for the most part. Early on it's all I did, any OC work of mine did very poorly by comparison, but as time went on and I established my character(s) more, it seemed to be the case that people preferred to see art of my own OCs. There are artists out there that completely buck the trend of fan-art being the only way, @HellOnEarthIII, @AndavaAgain and a few others. If you want to make it with OC, having a through-line or at least a cursory narrative helps. It's also important that there is something appealing about them.>>7906213I do very long form animations as well, oftentimes they can take in excess of a month to complete, however the way around this is to work ahead and schedule clips of full animations. Sometimes One will get like... 5k likes but then the next will get 30k. It's kind of like rolling and re-rolling in gacha. But if you want to make a living doing this, you have to get comfortable with having an expectation, it's a job just like any other. Being in a slump isn't going to be the nail in the coffin, it's happened to me plenty of times. I've lost 100 patrons in the past 3 months because I have been uploading very slowly, however that gives you a chance to have a big "comeback".>>7906216yup spot on. WIPs usually don't cut it for me unfortunately, usually not worth even posting them, but clips are my bread-and-butter.
>>7905698What are the reasons do you draw NSFW?Easy money? Fame? Or you just simply like it?Most studies and experiences have proven that porn consumption has negative effects on your brain and mental health, so why dipping yourself into a poison pool?To add confluence, I often see a lot of Japanese ero-mangaka venting about their "i'm not horny anymore" phase of their career on SNS and stop drawing porn either for a while or forever. And also after seeing quite a few numbers of those ero-mangaka who go to the mainstream manga path, I deem that this field is just not sustainable to work long term.
>>7906225Sorry, what was your question again?
>>7906225I worked in a store (think walmart), I had a vision of me dying wearing my name-tag in a car accident and quit with nothing lined up after that. All I wanted to was to forge my own path at that point. I was always told I was decent at drawing, and I've always been kind of a perv and had previously enjoyed drawing nsfw for myself in the past, so I just went for it all the way.I would say it felt like the most direct path to earning income from art that I could imagine at the time, and for the most part I was correct. NSFW art isn't my final goal, but over this time I've learned most of what I need to know to be able to persue art in more meaningful ways. Think of it as the only way I could make money while learning anatomy and fundamentals as well as I have.Regarding the negative affects it can cause mentally - yes that is certainly true. Sometimes it does get to me. Sometimes when I'm drawing frames of a dick going in a mouth for hours I have to sit back and go "what am I doing with my life" but then I remember I am beholden to no one but myself, and I get over it.In the end I feel blessed for being given the chance to use a pen to earn my living, even though what I draw may be seen as silly or as slop. One final note: the money is NOT easy. It is not easy at all. You have to give this your full and total commitment unless you are just extremely lucky like some other NSFW artists that just get 100k likes on everything they draw, they are the exception, not the rule. 99% of nsfw artists cannot live off their income.
>>7906234>NSFW art isn't my final goalnta, but you can always go the speedosausage route. Many nsfw artist are able to become successful with sfw and with a large chunk of them becoming an industry artist/animator.
>>7906237That is indeed true, I have considered doing something like that. I also want to make things that are completely not associated with my nsfw account in any way though. We'll see.

>>7905698Which artists were your biggest influences?
>>7906240>what kind of refs do you use? (ye, I know, very vague question)all kinds really; mostly porn for poses because for some reason it's hard to come up with those angles from memory even though I've done this so long. Almost always have to look at the character for fanart.>how far are you able to deviate from ref? Posted is a sketch character concept for a manga idea I've held in my mind for like 5 years.
>>7906248I love this question! My first and most important influence is zone-tan. It was some of the first nsfw I saw and it's what made me realize that it's a real artform.mizumizumizu for his simplistic style (i hate lolishit but i have to commend him for his artstyle), okinawanogori is someone I have studied quite a bit but his style feels so hard to reach. yev-san was one of my first big influences even before I drew, I actually found him on /ic/. Ettone is HUGE on my list, genuinely one of my biggest art heroes, just such a unique fluid style. There's a lot more, really too m any to count.

>>7905698I’m a 3D animator, but recently I started learning to draw to improve my animation and posing. Do you have any tips that aren’t in the animator’s survival kit? How long does it take you to finish an animation and how long are they usually? Do you know any 3D animators? I’ve been thinking about making some simple 3D porn animations to earn money, but I’m not sure if people are still willing to pay for that. I honestly don’t even know how to make money from it lol
>>7906264I'm not completely sure, that seems to have been the case for reasons I don't know. He still has a fanbox.>>7906265I haven't read the animator's survival kit yet, I have it but honestly everything I've learned for animations is almost completely from trial and error. 99% of my work is in live2d and there are really no guides for making porn in it. I am venturing into traditional animation, however. I do know quite a few 3d animators. If you have skills in blender or anything else, there's no reason not to give it a shot. It's still extremely popular but there is a lot.. I mean A LOT of competition in that space due to the far lower bar to entry. You have to distinguish yourself from the other animators, which is getting increasingly more difficult.

I'm a smaller nsfw artist. 80k on Twitter. Around $400 on Patreon. Some questions for OP. Just skip questions you have already answered.Do you draw OC or fanart? What helped you the most to grow your audience? What kind of reward tiers do you offer on Patreon. What keeps you going? Any big projects you are working on?Do you sell physical merch? What payment processors do you use?
>>7906268>live2d>yeah I'm an animatorlollmaoI guess even stuff like meet'n'fuck could be called a game in that regard
>>7906281>Do you draw OC or fanart?both>What helped you the most to grow your audience?doing large-scale animations of popular characters, often from gacha games. I kind of tend to do more niche characters from popular franchises if that makes sense>What kind of reward tiers do you offer on Patreon. $5 full uncensored artowrk$10 full uncensored animations$20 full uncensored "secret" art and animations (nsfw of my OC)>What keeps you going? Any big projects you are working on?Mostly the joy of being able to draw for money. the dopamine hit of the algorithm being somewhat random desu, being able to express my horny desires is pretty fun. I would say most of what I make ends up turning into a big project, I have 2 large animation series on the plate as well as an animated commission I started in 2023 that is like.. 20 minutes long and has 10 scenes.>Do you sell physical merch?I want to, I had a test plush made of my most recognizable character but haven't set aside the time or money to open pre-orders and get the rest of them made. I want to build some hype beforehand so I can take as much advantage of it as I can>What payment processors do you use?Technically my payouts are pretty much direct-to-bank from platforms. If you want to get around paypals restrictions, using Ko-fi is a good workaround.
>>7906288ko-fi isn't direct to bank though, it still goes through paypal.
>>7906288I guess being an american makes it hard to receive crypto
>>7906289Well, the thing is - it acts as a buffer. The real thing that gets nsfw artists got from patreon is having an email or text in the field that implicates their nsfw art account. With kofi you can use it to hide your identity and all paypal sees is "xyz got a coffee!">>7906290not necessarily, it's just the fact that most normies don't want to take the time to use it. I am very pro-crypto and desu if every nsfw used it for payouts they wouldn't have to worry about so much bullshit.
>>7906293paypal* not patreon.
>>7906293Global west made crypto gay: USDT funds on any account (at least that's the case for implementation of USDT on Ethereum) can be frozen by Tether company (and I remind you - it's american company). For most (if not all) centralized exchanges you need KYC and an anus scan. And you need to constantly worry if your customer sent you dirty crypto (e.g. from russian garantex crypto exchange) because of sAnCtIoNs and anti money laundering shit
How do you advertise your paysites? Link on the drawings? In the description or somewhere else?Do you censor all your drawings to paywall them?Do you post public sfw content on Patreon for your non-paying Patrons?Do you have Patrons that go beyond the $20 reward tier or anything unusual like that?Do you manage a Discord channel? Patreon group chat?
>>7905711>avoid expressions of rapeCan anybody attest if I can get away with this by just posting SFW thumbnail on the post and post the base64 link of the real content in the comment section?
>>7906324I always make sure links are as accessible as I can make them on my profile, it's in my bio, in a pinned post on twitter, and on every post I make on pixiv. If it's a part of a large animation project, at the end of the animation I'll often fade out with text that reads "full animation on patreon" or something to that effect. I pretty much have no sfw content I produce so not really lol. No, 20 is my cap, but often times people will choose a yearly sub for a good discount and that's always a nice windfall when get it. I used to have a discord, it ended up reaching about 8000 members at it's peak, but it really just turned into the lowest common denominator of people talking and it really just made me really disappointed that my fanbase is as retarded as it is. It was really just useless and I never really cared to have like.. a community? like it was really not all it's cut out to be, it was just super gay. No patreon group chat either>>7906330nooope. Patreon very easily just follows your links. They randomly audit peoples accounts like that. if you're posting against the rules they will always figure it out eventually. You're better off just using a different platform if you want to draw rape or shit like that.
Impressive stuff. I prefer to paint. What do you spend your money on?
>>7905698>In the first couple of years I had less than 2000 followers, currently I have around 500kDo you draw porn from the get-go?I fell like the algo nowadays then to hate porn artists especially those who draws disgusting stuffs like gangrape/interracial/monster/etc..>I earn around 7.5-14k USDHow long has it taken you to get to this amount?I draw porn doujin.I'm planning to open a Fanbox to let my subscribers read my work as I finish each page and then I'll sell the complete work on DLsite (I wish I could open an account on Fanza).500JPY for WIPs.1000JPY for finished pages.2000JPY for CSP files.
>>7906330Posting a link is the same as posting it directly. Patreon doesn’t care where it’s posted. Patreon is about the artist and that includes what you do outside of Patreon.
>>7906348Thank you. For the time being, mostly repair and maintenance of the house I bought recently, it really adds up, and I don't have much to spare past survival necessities and health insurance>>7906350>Do you draw porn from the get-go?I fell like the algo nowadays then to hate porn artists especially those who draws disgusting stuffs like gangrape/interracial/monster/etc..Yes, I've been an nsfw artist since I started. There is kind of... two different algorithms. NSFW art is on the fringes of it, but reach is healthy enough with the right amount of effort.>How long has it taken you to get to this amount?Hmm.. well the first couple of years the only income I got were the occasional commissions. When I started actually making decent quality animations I was able to get it to about 70k in 2023, in 2024 I earned about 95k, and in 2025 I think around 110k. The jump was significant and quick when my art skills improved paired with animation. Before animation the income was not something someone could survive on.>I draw porn doujin.I'm planning to open a Fanbox to let my subscribers read my work as I finish each page and then I'll sell the complete work on DLsite (I wish I could open an account on Fanza).500JPY for WIPs.1000JPY for finished pages.2000JPY for CSP files. This is not necessarily a bad plan. The problem with japanese platforms is that japanese nsfw consumers are heavily.. I mean HEAVILY biased towards japanese artists. I have always struggled on pixiv. My fanbox makes less than 500 USD a month. My patreon dwarfs all other platform earning substantially. I suggest offering your doujins full and completed at the 500JPY tier, WIPs will be there to pad it out. 500 is basically bog standard for every other artist on the platform and I can almost guarantee you will make more end the end if that is your bread-and-butter tier. You can really only have a higher tier if you are an animator, even 1000JPY is pushing it for animations as well.
>>7905698>>7906141Why are you ignoring this? What you posted in OP is half-assed 2 minutes sketch. I'd like to see what your actuall skills are.
>>7906371>inb4 erm I just don't want people to be able to trace me to my profile!
Is it better to charge more and filter out the third worlders?
>>7906375When it comes to commission, yes. People who want cheap commissions are the ones who need to stretch their money so they will want you to do 10,000 revisions. After a while you can start to easily pick up on who's a low IQ annoyance and avoid them based on the signs. People who tell you what they want, you give them a price, and they say "sure" are the ones you want, and you want to work with them often.
>>7906377I've seen people say it's better to charge by the job rather than post specific fees for commissions. Would you agree? For example with one client you charge $500, but maybe the next client is a company so you charge them double.
>>7906377>>7906371>Why are you ignoring this? Should I assume you are just larping?
>>7905961Maybe one of these could work? They're FOSS.https://github.com/socioboard/Socioboard-5.0https://github.com/gitroomhq/postiz-apphttps://github.com/inovector/mixpost
>>7905946I cannot leave my job to get serious with art. I have too many people depending on me to be stable. I guess I am going to have to give it up and stay a corpo wagie.
>>7906400Please don't think that way, just do as much a you can. In the quiet moments think about what you want from at, get a clear understanding of where you want it to take you. The worst that could happen is you tried, you gave it an honest try. It may take longer than someone in my position, but that's ok. Godspeed.
>>7905698>I'm a NSFW artist / animator who started in 2020, I was a complete and total beginner. In the first couple of years I had less than 2000 followers, currently I have around 500k. Thanks for creating it and spreading your knowledge!I've been working in the art industry (vidya) for 5 years and it killed my nsfw patreon (kinda) - only the most loyal fans left and now i'm earning around $300. Your style is an "epic rendering" or just cell shading? By "illustrations" you mean they have a detailed background too? (i'm also thinking of posting twice a week but I noticed that drawing backgrounds or detailed ones are not that important really - sometimes even a character on a white background gets like 3k likes while a detailed picture sits around 800likes)- did you buy a blue checkmark on twitter? Did it help?- i want to start a Pixiv account and later open a Fanbox too but i will basically need to start from 0%. I have hundreds of sfw/nsfw drawings. How long should you post on Pixiv before starting to make people know you opening a Fanbox? or you should start posting such stuff from the start? (sorry i have no idea how Fanbox works)

>>7905698Did you start with trad then move to digital or were you working with digital all the way through?
>>7906383Yeah I mean, I usually just give people a base range. Art is always such a case-by-case basis that I don't really know if commissions sheets are that relevant any more>>7906394I'm retarded by I'll see if I can figure out how to use this stuff thank you for sharing>>7906448Good luck, it really is a shame the shape the concept art industry is in, that was my initial dream as an artist, but even back in 2018-2019 I started getting the sense that the writing was on the way; I can't explain why. Your situation mirrors someone else who is a big influence of mine @cptpopcorn, he makes SO MUCH money and has way less followers than me, it's really incredible. When you look at his work you can see why though. He really was an industry pro, my art really isn't that good I'm afraid.>You told you post at least 2 illustrations per week. Your style is an "epic rendering" or just cell shading? By "illustrations" you mean they have a detailed background too? No, honestly I do just as much as I can get by with in terms of what's necessary for nsfw art. I usually do spend quite a bit of time rendering, but lately I've been focusing on dialing it back to just become more efficient, I'm too slow. All of my artistic inspirations are japanese and you know the "white square background" look, that's basically where I'm at.. just finding a real bg doesn't matter that much. yes I'm verified, I don't think it helps reach that much but the features are worth it since it's my main platform. Regarding pixiv, just start now, use your same artist name and link to your twitter, also just put a pixiv link in bio. Pixiv is mad rough now though because of all the fucking ai slop. Reach is as hard as ever. Fanbox is difficult if you're western, I'm debating just not even updating mine any more.
>>7906668>Pixiv is mad rough now though because of all the fucking ai slop. That depends on your specific situation, I draw SFW umamusume fanart on a very small account (<100 twitter followers) and my pixiv uploads of my backlog on a fresh Pixiv did significantly better than my twitter uploads of the same drawings
>>7906659yes, a really funny realization I had recently was that I wasn't drawing as much as I wanted traditionally back then literally from neck pain from my big ass head. Once I went digital I was able to lock in. Fuck screened tablets because of that lol>>7906627>You told you post at least 2 illustrations per week. Your style is an "epic rendering" or just cell shading? By "illustrations" you mean they have a detailed background too? I picked it in one day, I used a site that's called like "namechecker" or something and kept inputting stuff until none of them were taken. I picked a name that could be recognizable without any like numbers or w/e.>Did you start your Patreon at the same time as your other social media accounts? What do you think is a good starting point to create a Patreon? No, I made my patreon around mid-2021 iirc. No, there's nothing to wait for; just make one. Quit procrastinating. Having it will make you more committed. If anything treat it like a tip jar. Occassionally make patreon-only art or benefits like commission discounts (that was how i started it early on)>How did you manage commissions?I make a "commissions open" post on twitter, and patreon and then people DM me their ideas. I basically pick and choose which I think are worth doing. I have a business paypal in order to hide my identity, and I only take payments via invoices that *I* create with generic messages such as "thank you!". Finally the way I do payment is half up front to reserve a slot and half once the commissioner approves the sketch. I don't really have a "list", I have to play it by ear. One thing I'm never doing again are fucking OCs. Fuck people's OCs.>How do you judge how much time you should spend on doing an artworkHonestly I haven't figured that out myself yet. Sometimes I am backed into a corner biting off more than I can chew in an animation or agree to way too many variations in a commission.
>>7906627>Regarding tablets and software. What did you start with? And what canvas size was comfortable for quality work?I answered this already but I'll do it again, wacom intuos pro large PTH-860. My canvas size is usually 2k square or 4k square, adjusted while i figure out composition.>Do you have any advice for secure platform and/or payment process to remain anonymous?Answered in the question regarding commissions. Good luck! Also like I said above Kofi is a good workaround; there are always options.
>>7906668>cptpopcornholy crap he has more than 1000 paid subs on patreon... But i see he has around 3000 subs on Instagram. IG is such a crap platform for artist.Even i had 3k subs before it was banned few years ago and i assume i would have at least 5k now (i posted about opening commissions twice and they banned my account because it's against their rules - i could never get it back and started all over). Thanks for sharing your experience, anon!
>>7906249>about the same quality as local begs like kman4e4 put outlarp
>>7905698I enjoyed being able to divulge in some of my experiences through all of this, I hope in some small way anyone with aspirations in the social media landscape of art can take some of this advice to heart! If I were to boil down everything I've learned in a few sentences it'd be this:-Make your account NOW. Your twitter, your instagram, youtuber, patreon etc. The best time to start was yesterday, the second best is today.-Take some time to figure out your final vision of who you see yourself as an artist, this will give you the ability to align yourself in a direction you can follow.-This is an obvious one, but: practice, practice practice. Dedicated practice - don't waste time going over the same things you have over and over, try new things.-Find a Niche, and be "the guy that does XYZ"-Be persistent and consistent, give your audience something to look forward to, even if you don't have an audience yet, you will, and they will see what you made today, tomorrow.-Monitor your progress, and take notes on artists you like, treat it like you're teaching someone else.-Look for opportunities and be creative with how you use them. Reach out to other artists, youtubers, idc just do something, don't be a pussy.-Get off /ic/. Crabs in a bucket have always been an issue here, but it's much worse than it ever was, it's kind of depressing honestly. Spent all day yesterday going from thread to thread but this place just has this air of hopelessness, there's no point any more. No big artists here any more either.Final note: feel free to drop your twitter @ particularly if you are a NSFW artistGood luck everynyan

no one who makes 5 digits a month could or would tell you how the get there because most of them dont even understand it.i had around 60k followers on that one and i reached 120k on my new alias. i also have several small accounts around 10-20k where i basically larp my personalities just because im mentally ill and i dont like to mix my styles or themes i draw.the only reason i mention this is because your account popularity depends specifically of what you draw. if you go deep into a fandom or a theme (futa, hairy/sweaty women, popular anime girls, hot twinks, etc) eventually you will be found by a bigger artist than you that draw the same bullshit and it takes 1 retweet to become "successful". there is no secret, no magic sauce, you have 0 control over this.even if you stick to a very niche thing, you better be above average or have a very appealing style at least, avoid fandoms or just dip the tip here and there, NEVER go deep, eventually someone will call you out for drawing a character with the wrong skin tone or put a few centimeters in their hip and it will be over, also fandoms have a tendency to die, so eventually people wont give a fuck about your art and finding a new one that also is liked by your current followers is near impossible, this is why you find accounts with 200k followers and 2k likes per post.
>>7906725>>7905698Looking at this now. I skimmed through some of this.I'd disagree with reaching out to other artists. I've drawn shit for so many popular people and never got a retweet from them. I even animated a FLCL thing just to get ignored and hunt them down later to retweet it.I have a mutual named kanton that took this drawing for others thing further and never received his significant retweets for his time and effort. I have another mutual bonemanjake. That drew for some popular fuck and got ignored as well.If they don't personally reach out to you or like your posts you should just ignore anybody popular. There's popular fucks and shitters.Focus on making yourself unique and independent from others so that people engage with you instead.Overall the internet is dead and you can't earn money anymore after the pandemic boom. You'll have a better chance of getting traction on YouTube. Twitter is a waste of time since it's all artists. I wanted to give people my perspective. My audience are gross fetish losers. An old mutual thekidart. Dm'd Laughed at me once he got more patronies. My fans from my Takeda hiromitsu server are all gross foreigners that don't play social media. And have an obsession with my artwork cause I drew a poorly drawn foot that meets their particular amputee fetish. I can't think of anything else to put in here.

This thread is pitiful. If I ever make it I will make sure to come back to this shitty hellhole, ask for a bunch of @s, and I will start retweeting them personally to give them a headstart. This crab mentality cannot be allowed to continue. Trolling used to be at least funny, this is pathetic.
>>7906725>Get off /ic/But I have nowhere else to go :( Cool thread OP. I started learning to draw to contribute to the extremely niche coom i'm into, but I ended up finding porn wasn't a good motivator because I spent more time goonsearching and hoarding 'references' than actually drawing. Also i got turbo depression and my libido died. Granted, I don't think I practice any more now that i'm sticking to simpler non-porn stuff (For now), but do I think I'm more motivated by overcoming the anxiety of being shit and just having fun drawing something. Since i'm still super /beg/ I'd only want to monetize if I could figure out how to draw consistently well and not leave a customer unsatisfied that I couldn't draw their waifu.

Getting followers on social media is just about pandering to the boring shit the average normie likes. Chase trends and memes like a moron and you will get followers.
i used to draw memes and trend within a niche, would post comments and shit and get a lot of engagement and numbersi got 2k followers in a couple monthsone day i went through the list and found out it was mostly bots so i deleted the profile

if many people are insisting on something that makes success (money), you should at least question what someone gains from saying it;especially if the one giving out the road map has an obvious conflict of interestLike, why would you tell your potential future competitors on how to break into a market you yourself are active in, which will cause prices to drop and oversaturate the market with way more supply than there will ever be demand? If i earned a lot of money rigging models for vtubers, i sure as fuck wouldn't tell everyone to start doing it as to jeopardize my own income and job opportunities. If i made money with pornography, why in the everliving sex would i ever tell you to start doing it? I don't think I would have ever been completely content with just drawing. I'm moving on to more things now too, specifically trying new animations methods. I am also dipping toes into doujins with more defined narratives. Animations really do set your work apart from the rest and adds like 2 more dimensions to your work: time and sound.

>>7908647Honestly The first one matters a lot more than the second one. The amount of insanely skilled artist that get no attention comparative to someone in a great niche or someone drawing fanworks constantly is abysmal
>>7908651Honestly just quit drawing, it's better for your mental health. it's not like you cared about it in the first place.
>more schizophrenic episodesnigga really can't cope with being exposed as a carried scrub
>>7908654you're not wrong in a sense. people resonate with things that they are familiar with the most. Original works are constantly made that people like or flock too. Skill can carry up to a certain point, but if you want to reach higher then it's your goal is to give people a reason to like your work.
>>7908665What a lot of people also don't tend to understand is stylistic appeal on a global sense? Like someone can be technically sound, but is drawing in a way that just isn't in vogue which makes it harder to grab anyone's attention. So like if you draw like current anime that's popular right now or has been popular for years and is not showing signs of slowing down? You're generic but at least you'll have more eyes on you, but if you draw like 1960's Speed Racer other artist might respect you, enthusiast might respect, but the populous at large will most likely ignore you.

Not even that, but @'s hardly ever show up. I have to name-search my OC or w/e often to find fanart :"( I feel bad when I RT it so late but it's because I literally didn't know they drew it. Back when I was actually attempting to network (around 2021-2023) the system was far more intuitive. I think the AI-ification of the algo really fucked up the site's functionality. Try your best not to let it discourage you though, just stick to it. It sounds like you dislike your own audience's taste which is a rough spot to be in, but you can always cultivate a new following by doing what *you* want to do. Good luck, try to keep your chin up, it'll work out with persistence.

>>7908767Thank you :)>>7908467>>7906283>>7907017>>7907165Now that no one is really asking for questions any more I guess I'll ask: What is it about live2d animations that you don't like? As someone who animates with live2d and I have seen *a lot* of them; they are very hit or miss - as stated above this is a big part of why I'm animating traditionally now. However when done well it has it's own unique charm in my own opinion. I guess I'm realizing it gives the impression of a "cheap animation" when I'm not spending cheap animation time on projects. I actually found that frame animation is more efficient and allows much more freedom. What are your thoughts of 3d animated NSFW? Do y'all have any live2d animators you consider good?
Who was the animator that started this AMA? can anyone share that animator's twitter/patreon/pixiv?
>>7908922short answer: because it looks like meet'n'fuck games.the nature of live2d animations is that since they rely entirely on tweening, it gives the animation a distinct digital look that looks and feels cheap, like there is no artistic intent in the inbetween. I've also seen a lot of l2d animations, and to me they aren't hit or miss, they are largely if not entirely, pretty bad.It doesn't help that most of the base illustrations are not made with the intent of being animated. To use an example from yourself, the becca animations that were illustrated by krekkov look like shit in my opinion because they were made to be that, an illustration, and it's hard carried by the fact it's krekkov, not because of your work. 3d animation don't suffer from the same issue, because unlike l2d it's made to be reactive to the other physical objects in the scene instead of having to be unnaturally squashed and stretched like the BJ ones you made that makes the girl look like Bellsprouts. If I absolutely have to name one, maybe pink pet bottle. But 3d animators are ahead by a large margin, and hand animated is an irreplaceable artform.
what do you recommend if I want to "start" on social media, I only have a 1k followers account on a pedo mastodon site and do 1-2 commissions a month, but 11 followers on twitter, and every drawing with 0-1 like (in singular), I upload to that shitty site but I get 0 attention, no matter what I do, and no, I'm not uploading dangerous shit, just normal cool ass sketches (I do b&w only)>example of my work
>>7909006I'll be completely honest, twitter HATES sketches. I was chatting with a voice actress and she was giving me some advice and it went something like this:>screenshares>starts scrolling really fast on twitter>"this is what people see, do you see which ones catch the eye and scratch the brain!?"Everything clicked for me then.Basically people on twitter are brain rotted and just scrolling mindlessly, you need to catch their attention. If you do black and white only you are at a *severe* disadvantage if you want reach. At the minimum, bump the contrast up to 100% so it's pure black and pure white, that's at least something. Yeah it sucks yeah I know pandering is annoying I know I know, but swallow your pride and choose to make a living from art instead of not making a living from art. But on another note, your art looks great from the post, congrats!! Just give some color a shot for a start. Idk post your @ and i'll follow you>>7908985interesting, thanks for the in-depth input!
>>7908232>If you look at enough of it you can immediately know when someone is japanese or not by their artLet's test the water. Is this pedo >>7906883 Japanese or Westerner or another asians larping as Japanese?
>>7909064I honestly would guess he's either some type of asian or french.
Seriously, who was the animator that started this AMA? I haven't seen any mentions of their username in the entire AMA, can anyone please show that animator's username?
>>7909087Read baka read>>7908454
>>7908732>feel free to share, I can give it a character design critique or tell you if it's something I'd avoid / be fine with doing hypotheticallyStill here tho?
>>7909154Don't worry they'll see it when they wake up. I can take a look at it in the interim
>>7909158Honestly, not a bad OC! Realistically speaking I'm not really in the hardcore anime pocket (Not to say I'm not making efforts) like OP might be, but I don't see why they wouldn't be interesting in taking your com! A completely inoffensive and cute character. If there is anything negative I could say about it, it's probably that I don't have much to say about it at all? I feel like I see the "Demon Anime Girl" archetype a lot in specific anime related streamer spaces and it feels like this girl would fit right into that sort of pocket.Honestly I should probably praise you a lot more than I'm currently doing. Most OCs made by non-artist are often really shite, hell most OCs made by artist often do a little too much in my opinion, this is actually just right for being a baseline good OC.
>>7909164Seems I didn't delete soon enough but I had TMI on the account I realized (not that it would stop archivers).Do appreciate it though! Far as an>anime demon girlgoes, I'm not after a ton concept wise, I just rolled with a design I found charming at the time and sfw commissions are fun to get just for sake of getting some dumb BS drawn or whatever fun idea. And yeah I enjoy being loose with the character where there's a few different ways people can play with the elements and roll with what they like but I landed on something distinct still.Funny enough, her design is just over designed enough that people think it's a vtuber, especially on account of some of my followers.
>>7909165Yeah simply put I don't think any anime adjacent artist would at all be displeased with drawing your character.
>>7908615>>deflectionyou deflected 1st, jackasswhat a fucking tool
>>7908521>and i have more soulNot if this is your art lmaoReminder that "soul" is just a meme word used by ignorant people that can't explain eloquently enough why they like a certain thing.
>>7909038this is why I hate social media, I will reflect on either doing it or nah, thanks for the advice, my address is @keiminyabouti
