There are a couple of gacha with a more unique approach. What actually got me interested in Nikke was the use of really good live 2D graphics on these really detailed illustrations. The characters had a very tacticool feel to them, similar to a lot of military otaku artwork. Really good design work. Loads of gorgeous detail which works really well with the live2D. They've since flattened a lot of their designs and are in the process of fanatically copying the other gachas, who copy them in return, so it's become a lot less interesting. Also they've moved from tactical military feel to this kind of scifi cyber armour thing, which is a lot less fun. But occasionally that original design ethos shines through. You can see what I mean in some of the early design work here by illustrator hyulla.
