There are so many posts of people asking if they should draw a certain way, or if that way to draw is a good idea, etc. My friends, If you are having to ask a bunch of strangers if you can draw, then you've already fucked up. Everything you need to know for drawing will come with observation and purposeful drawing. If you have a question, try it out first and think about it. If you still have questions you still have, then ask for some critiques. Critiques are good, but you have to try what you want to draw. All drawing is is a bunch of decision-making. Make the decision to actually draw. We can't tell you if you can make it big one day, but for sure the people who will, aren't asking if they should try drawing in the first place. They just draw.Again, draw purposefully, ask yourself what you want to improve before you draw. Draw. Find reference for what you're drawing and observe the reference closely. Find ways you can improve your drawings using reference. Draw. Repeat. You will get better. There is no way to get good quick. Just observation, decision-making, and drawing. Also, gonna share a doodle of mine, a cool ninja/samurai woman.
why do so many begtards and people who generally suck at art feel the need to give advice and do tutorials?
>>7919583I may be, but my advice is sound.
>>7919583Dunning-Kruger and anonymity creates a stupid fucking faggot that craves the dopamine hit from telling people how to do something while having zero knowledge and experience in the thing they're instructing
>>7919582nigga i aint readin all that shit
>>7919589it's got nothing to do with anonymity, go look at youtube or any social media site hell, go to your local library and look at actual published books
>>7919583>>7919589because you people are too lazy or stupid to follow the books and courses and come here to ask the hows and whys when its all out there. just draw, do the grinding, do the courses, do the books, repeat till you reach the goal you aimed for.
>>7919605>>7919623That's exactly what the fuck I'm saying. They expect that we'll say something that will instantly make them great. Not possible. Work. Draw. Study.I'm not even saying anything groudbreaking with this. It should be art common sense. It's why I made this thread. Those posts make me so frustrated.
>>7919582You assume too much of literal golems. They can't really think outside orders/books/tutorials.They are best customers, really worst creative hobbyists. Just keep selling them tools and courses lmao
>>7919602>clicks on reply>"i aint reading shit">clicks on get captcha>clicks on verification box>waits 60 seconds>pays attention to the correct shape>scrolls through 4 pictures to find the right one>does this 3 times>AAAAAAAAAND post
>>7919582okay genius, how do I get better at drawing WITHOUT having to draw for hours? Ever consider that people dont want to fucking draw?
>>7919774Dumb nigger
>>7920074You make posts begging idiot strangers to tell you how.
i never did anything but „just draw“ and am probably better than 40% of the board. doesnt mean studying with a plan (fundamentals etc) isnt better, but if you dont have the energy/ focus for that at any given point, „just draw“ is still the best advice out there to get better.
>>7920115okay, what next?
>>7919582>>7920126I think I should reiterate something, because I feel some people may be confused on my point. Studying, reading books, learning fundies are still important. I classify those things as a part of observation and reference, so I didn't mention them. However, people on this board need to learn how to be ok with fucking up and trying again. They ask random strangers these questions, in the hopes they don't have to ever make bad, embarrassing, fucked up pieces. Those shitty drawings are how you learn though, and everyone has made them. So just draw. Drawing today leads to better ones tomorrow, as long as you draw with a goal and purpose everyday.
