hands are reasonably the most difficult thing to learn properlyMost professional artists just fully reference them when making artworks or have that much mileage that they don't need to reference
its gets more fun when they dont look awful anymore while doing studies. then you crave more images and more well lit ones and weird poses to experiment and understand more. and its amazing how easy and quick you can recreate them from memory after study even weeks and months later, which is an essential part of the study, the test. just like school.

I'm horrible at hands...HOW DO PEOPLE DRAW HANDS...HOWWWWW
>>7920294>68 pages>he doesn't know
>>7920298>>7920304Cease your homosexual babble. You clearly do not know what you are talking about.
how are you actually supposed to use artbooks? just copy every illustration in them cover to cover?
>>7920393the good books usually tell you
>>7920401no they don't because they're made for people who understand what studying is, the books that spell out the obvious are either made for kids or are side income wiled with useless drivel because the publisher mandates a limited number of plates per page of textthere's a reason bridgman is the standard and nobody ever read the text
>>7920431Can't you just stop being retarded?
>>7920432>hurr what do with drawing book durr>ur retardedlol
>>7920393>pick something specific you want to learn to draw (i.e. hands)>bookmark sections in several books talking about said topic (i use PDFArranger to cut the portions out)>read + copy drawings>grind from life>rinse and repeatat least that's the only thing that helped me see any actual improvement in anythingtrying to follow a book like an art course never worked for me, it's easier to just pick a specific thing you want to learn how to draw then study that using as many resources as you can find about it
>>7920304pyw
>>7920356>How do I draw x??>Draw x until you know how.
>>7920393This is how you use artbooks:>blind contours, gesture studies, Cognitive Drawing, and observational drawings of the subjects>for physical books, get tracing paper and break down the artwork into shapes and forms>for digital copies, open them up in a program and break them down
>>7920431Truth
>>7920304You don't draw you faggot.
>>7920393Read how to draw it. Copy it. Repeat. Why are no draws so dumb?
