Why do you use digital? Why not do it traditional? I don't get why digital is so popular amongst young artists. It's nice and convenient, sure, but isn't it much more fun to draw and paint with real colors and real pencils?
no?next question.
>>79218431. Uncoditional CTRL Z.2. Easier to share on social media.Surely, this is not hard to understand.
>>7921843I love both, but yeah, pencils are more fun to doodle and sketch with.
>>7921843if trad is so great whyd you post a digital image
>>7921843Less mess
>>7921843>It's nice and convenientAnswered your own question>Isn't it more fun to spend hundreds of dollars on art supplies and lug them around with you everywhere any time you want to draw? No. Outside of a personal sketchbook or live figure drawings, anyone still doing full-on traditional pieces is either doing it for novelty or because they're old as fuck and too set in their ways to make the switch
>>7921843Social media. Thats the answer for most
>>7921843I don't have much living space
>>7921843because i wanna draw anime girls and dont want anybody to see it. cant alt+tab a piece of paper
>>7921843If you want to work professionally, then you'll need to be proficient in digital, and working digitally is also probably the cheapest medium (programs can be free, and a decent tablet can be as cheap as just the paper or canvas you want to paint or draw on for trad)... so those are going to be the big two reasons. However, I ultimately agree with you. If buying materials isn't an issue, you really should be working in trad. After all the likes and follows you get from posting your digital image, you can then be saying,>"hey, it's also a piece of physical art, buy here ___"and actually making money from your doodles. Even if you haven't got a social media audience, you can at least send that art to an art dealer, or put it on ebay, or whatever else to sell it.The only downside is that trad media obviously has a bit of a harsher learning curve, and is less forgiving to the artist. I'm sure there are a good number of artists on here who can't do with ctrl+z or the warp/liquify tool.>>7921986Just quickly cover it up with your porn mags.
>>7921843>isn't it much more fun to draw and paint with real colors and real pencils? No, and even if it were, why would YOU think that?
>>7922077>I'm sure there are a good number of artists on here who can't do with ctrl+z or the warp/liquify toolYea, that's what I was thinking. I personally just use digital as a crutch. I definitely prefer trad, but I still use digital too, because it's just easier when you can fix everything easily.>>7922086Traditional gives you actual tactile feedback when drawing and painting. You can paint with real brushes and real colors. Digital ijust feels lie drawing on glass the whole time.
>>7922091>Traditional gives you actual tactile feedbACK>Digital ijust feels lieACKlol poop nigger squinky stinky cannae feel the form. LMAO
>>7921843I'm struggling financially and have little time, when I draw on my tablet with my stylus it's easy to be in the living room with the missus and just draw for a bit while we watch something and talk, and I can easily put it away, also don't need to spend money on supplies, and I have access to a ton of colors and brushes without needing more space than my tablet and stylus. It's just 10x easier and more convenient for me.
>>7921843Well, obviously traditional is much more enjoyable. But you can't port it directly online and I want to show my stuff to others, so.
>>7921843>I barely have space in my home for pencil and papers>I don't like having to wait the paint to dry, but also I am worried for the fumes>>7922098>picHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
