Brother if I wanted to do this with my phone I'll be all day trying to get the perfect hand reference, this is straight up unfair
>>7928575I will never trust a well drawn hand again.
If you're a commercial artist's then yeah, go ahead. It's not like your work has any value beyond reminding some fucking goober about a children's show they liked a decade ago.
>>7928575>straight up unfairMayhaps, but is it really that different from some fag pissing away money to pay real models to pose for themMoney has always bought shortcutsUsing a PC and 3D models isn't even newIf you train hard and git gud you won't need any of this shit so get back to sweating you poor
>>7928575nigga just go look up any poser software/site instead of shilling adobe bloatware
>>7928575
>>7928616kek
>>7928575does it work on a cock?
>>7928630The feds have been doing this with your dick pics for a decade
>>7928575adobe pajeets desperate to capture artists again. Clip Studio Paint solved this with 3D models decade ago.lol
>>7928575If you wanted a picture of your hand from a different angle... why wouldn't you just take the photo of your hand from a different angle?I guess I can see the utility of these features, but not for a shitty photo of your own hand.
>>7928616Popeye arms.
>>7928575Why did they use an ugly bastard's arm as an example
>>7928701it's the indian engineer who vibe coded the feature
>>7928575what is the point of this? for drawing, you could just take a picture in the actual position you wanted, or use a 3d model, or just use a mirror for live reference, and for painting, this just makes useless generic shit without any of the information that you're actually using a reference forI'm genuinely struggling to find a use for this
>>7928575Try again, in English this time.
>>7928575oh is this in the beta or is this a plugin? I don't see it lemme check their beta
>>7928755hm oh wow, it's the latest update. Pretty neat. I suppose maybe I can do like some janky animations in photoshop now? At that point I might as well use grease pencil in blender and benefit from an actual 3d environment.
>>7928575No thanks, Jamboydeep, I'll just snap a quick photo of my own hand.
>>7928630>>7928633This, they get your dick pick and it reconstructs up to your creepy face
I don't pay these fucks to be lectured on about my art
habibi is now modest and halal, inshallah be
>>7928575>>7928762>>7928806This shit is fucking stupid. You're having a braindead machine make up fanfiction about how a person or object is supposed to look like when you turn it around. The machine cannot interpret, it can only guess from patterns. There is no soul in doing this, no purpose for artists.
>>7928813you're just mad because you're a luddite who needs to rotate his hands manually
>>7928813they never understand an artist's genius during their time...
>>7928813>no purpose for artistsI suppose if you were doing an illustration or design that had an object seen from various perspectives, you could use this and possibly save time, though based on what I'm seeing, it'd be hit or miss if it'd even be worth painting over, and may make you waste time fixing something that's really fucked up rather than starting from fresh.
>>7928865Yeah, that's essentially how generative technology is being treated. It's really only good for fast ideation or placeholding. Can also be good for solo artists where the end result is more valuable than a workflow that can be easily tweaked within a collaborative environment. You can't beat the modularity of a deterministic environment. With things like Blender or Photoshop, the setup is what will take the longest, but the pay off is the ease of tweaking and being able to change specific things. With generative content it's the inverse and removes a great deal of agency due to its probabilistic nature even factoring things like controlnet or inpainting into the mix. It 100% is something that can help specific roles or tasks as much as people hate it, but it can't replace actual artists. All it does it serve to magnify the disparity between those who are already "in" and those who are not.
>>7928575You need cloud subscription for that
>>7928715I imagine it's more to do quick photoshop/photobashes than it really is for any drawing.
>>7928806This made me chortle.
I laughed so hard at this thread dear God.
