>don't draw for a day
>tell myself tomorrow i'll be better
>next day comes
>laze about all day, not even due to forgetting to draw but because i'm anxiously thinking about it all day
>end up not drawing
>feel like shit the next day
>repeat the cycle
how do i escape? i know it's as simple as just picking up the pen, i know i shouldnt make it such a big deal, i know its meant to be enjoyable, yet every single day is like this
and when i do end up drawing, i just fall back into not doing it for a few days until i feel so shitty about myself that i cant stand it and force myself to do it

Looks like you've run dry on inspiration. Try learning something instead, start up a study.
Or if it's the other way around, just draw something for fun.

For me the most enjoyable part of drawing is the self-expression. Especially drawing comics is great for this. I think comics are the best medium to express yourself with art. It's therapeutic to be able to express yourself with art.

you should join dad

There is no reason to draw anymore. It's impossible to get into the industry, and being a patreon artist was taken over by AI

then return to become a classical and teaditional artist you defeatist

fear of failure. Accept your art sucking or not is irrelevant. You first need to be skilled for it to matter at all. The fear is in your judgement of yourself

wake up early, eat breakfast and do some exercise
you'd be surprised with how lethargic your body becomes from just harboring a few bad habits

Pair it with an addiction. If you do anything enjoyable make drawing for 5 mins the requirement. IF you cannot do it for 5 mins you're not strong enough yet so lower it a bit and if you cannot find yourself drawing just tell yourself you're gonna set up for draw then do your vice work your way up to drawing a single line then up to 5 mins. Something is always better than nothing.

Also it could be because you don't know WHAT to draw but you tell yourself you have to draw daily. Give yourself a project, you may find yourself more focused.

>wake up early
Then too tired to do anything
>>
>it's way too sunny outside to draw
>don't draw
>had a great day anyways
>tomorrow I'll draw
>tomorrow comes
>well I didn't draw yesterday and it was great, why should I draw today?
>I can just draw 3x as much tomorrow
procrastination is just being smart, only a low functionin NPC can do things without question. I need solid arguments to do or believe anything.

>still tries to fit in among Low functioning NPCs drawing stuff, insists it is low brow skill
>cries when drawing itself filters her
>smart

yes, a lion cannot march in a line as efficient as an ant
