Is anyone else looking forward to HALLE 3D? Seems super promising.

>>7940001This software looks incredible and I'll definitely add it to my wishlist. I think the sentiment of 3D models being a form of cheating needs to vanish. I don't have the opportunity to take real figure drawing classes, the places where they do happen are hours away from me and it's just not worth it. Clip Studio's default models lack a lot of life and have many anatomical issues that just don't work for me. They work fine for comic artists who need a pose, but they're not ideal for portrait or figure artists by any means. I have various photo sets, but I've drawn the same models over and over and sometimes I wish I had them in different poses or wish they would look different. Something like this basically is a dream come true. I can control the lighting, the pose, the model, the environment they're in without having to compromise anything.
Wow! I have been a long time user of competing software, but this looks like a game changer! As artists, we need quality tools and this definitely looks like it will have a permanent place in my workflow.
>>7940116Nobody has a problem with you using something like this for studies what are you even on about? What? Are you hearing yourself right now? It's a completely different thing to use things like this as study aids versus outright replacing knowledge or skill in a workflow
Ugh nevermind I didn't see the other comments in this samefagged bait thread. Fuck this board. >>7940121
As an old timer 3d user I see only ONE thing that I can't do with Daz and it's joint kinematics, sticking one object to another and that object moves along with the first oneThis feature is good for VN, but for artists, that turborealism in 3d looks stiff and you'll never make it, and all your art will look traced. It's ok for things that are not going to be seen, to clip out, be distorted or otherwise not "perfectly matching physics"I'm sticking with Daz, because of one simple thing: I doubt you can import your own models as this is a paid/cloud thing in valve's basement and you'll be charged per models and shit. Meanwhile in Daz I can rip videogame character assets and shit and drop them in with no problemHaving default muscle/skelly models is nice (I have them on Daz but it's not default I download them from whatever)here's a 5sec render as proof i'm not bullshiting

>>7940132Yeah as much as I like the realistic models and boy morphing that Haele offers if I can't import or make my own models then it's worthless.
>>7940156*body morphing
>>7940156>>7940158Yeah like I said this is ABSOLUTELY not aimed at artist, the demographic seems to be Visual Novel makersIt just seems that way for the little nitpicky stuff they show like "moving this 10cm up and down, look how everything moves", it gives me sequential VN pictures vibesAdd that "background picture" support, that splashes a huge image dome in the back? that's not for artists, the fuck you are going to do with thatCoupled with this being a Steam release seems obvious this is aimed at VNs
>>7940116I don't intend to use it to trace but rather as a study tool. Especially if he shows shit muscle by muscle, that will be endlessly useful to me
>>7940160holy retard, never share your worthless opinion againonly on fucking /ic/ will you find these dumb niggers larping as human
