Is reaching an high enough skill level comparable to the like of Wamu, Eigaka, Krekkov, TheGoldenSmurf, Modeseven, etc. still possible even if I start as a beginner at 24/25 years old being a self thaught artist, or it's pretty much too late?

If I ever get to that point, I will pretty much be deep into my 30s and I'm not even sure I'll be able to relate to what social media and online communities, or heck just the world at large, will become by then and I fear actual professional industries I could apply for like comics or videogames will be pretty much entirely dead or not needing artists anymore due to AI slop

For a porn addict like you, it's basically over, don't bother.

when you watch how eigaka draws, hes a serial CTRLZer. So you can achieve that by just studying form and learning how to reach the form in whatever ref you're using. Its not magic.

holy fuck retard get actual taste before you make another shitty thread

If you're a wagie, don't waste your time. You need to draw several hours a day, every day, for at least a year, to reach barely decent levels of drawing skill.

It's never too late! If you want to be as great as the artists you admire then you have to totally commit yourself to art right now. That means drawing studies for six-to-nine hours for four days every single week.

Commit to it. Be consistent. Draw what you love. You will get there.

These artists you name have never asked those questions. They just drew whatever stupid thought crossed their mind that day. They made it because they didn't worry like you.

I'm 27 and I just started this year, so I'm in a similar situation. Been putting 3 to 5 hours into drawing every day and I feel like I am making some decent improvements. If I can do it at 27 then you can certainly do it at 25, so get started before you lose any more time.

if what you wanna be is a game developer - why not just be a game developer?
Why "apply to an industry"
People every day are making games in their free time - hell kids on roblox are where making "hit games" in their formative years
Are you saying, as a grown-ass adult, you can't make something better than a 12 year-old, even if you really gosh-darn tried?
You can legitimately learn, from zero, basic game-making in about 6 months if you are willing to put the effort in (I have done this). Just learn what a state-engine is, how IF statement works and you're about 50% of the way there.
It's probably even easier now with AI that can help clean up your code and instantly answer any coding questions you might have too
So just go look up "how to make flappy bird in godot" make that, then use a 2D Pixel platformer tutorial - congrats you're an aspiring indie-dev and once you learn the ropes, tweak what you learnt and make something more in-depth
Now you are done!
See you in 12 months when you have a game you want to share, or see you in a week when you go "waah it turns out it's just easier to consume media than make it"
Download Godot right now - it's the weekend, you have nothing important planned. Look up a beginner tutorial and start it. By the end of the weekend you will have made something.
