Jazza bros... the grift is finally over...

downsizing while keeping huge part of the payroll, unfathomably based not an easy task
>>
>>7959812
Ik people on here don't like him for some reason but it makes me sad this is what's happening to him desu. I grew up with him. The fact he's trying to maintain his payroll says a lot about the kinda guy he is.
>>
>>7959840
the guy never put in the effort to learn the thing he talks about, crabbed a million impressionable kids into permabegness and had a better life doing fuck all than this entire board put together, shut the fuck up, eceleb worshiping retard
>>
>>7959842
Nah fuck you bitch. We all had teachers we liked growing up. Most teachers aren't masters at teaching but we like them because they become role models of sorts or just give us something we need. It really makes me sad that this is the reality for Jazza, but him caring about his team even when the ship is sinking just confirms to me he was the kind of guy I always knew he was even if he wasn't the best.
>>
>>7959846
pyw, brain damaged zoomie
>>
>>7959850
I already did retard
>>
>>7959846
Dude they're both from a rich family, they can't really "fail" like normal people can, what the fuck are you sad about. These are people who can just up and build retarded D&D castles on properties worth tens of millions.
>>
>>7959798
That's such an awful profile pic.
>>
>>7959840
if he's actually smart and have iq more than 80 he would turn that stupid 'studio' of his into some design agency, employ people, the specialists in art and design field, and start taking art and animation project for corporate or better yet a large scale comms from big organization. If you cant draw but you have money atleast employ people who can do the job and put them into your studio to keep your capital flowing, that's like capitalism 101 that even kids know how to do it by selling cookies and pins. But look at what he did with his own 'studio', they are playing, playing, and playing, acting all productive and important while in reality they are just making youtube video for gags
he's like a 12 years old trapped in 30 something years old body, and im not even talking about his art skill or personality but something like brain development, something like priority, management, or like how to keep things going and deciding what to do next
>>
>>7960440

>>7959810
What for? The grift is over. Wars are coming. Depopulation is a go.
>>
>>7959812
Employment laws will tore his ass if he tries to fuck them up. To fire them he must compensate them accordingly, they are not just "employees" they are the ones who built his business along with him, and they have rights to the value of that company's total capital.
He probably is thinking now what new business should he get into, to put that workforce into good use, since he can't get rid of them, without liquidating his whole grifting "fortune".
>>
>>7960440
He should make a giant Gundam now that the new game is coming out. And get like a million views, like the guys from How Ridiculous, or Mr Beast, or Colin Furze.
>>
>>7959840
>The fact he's trying to maintain his payroll says a lot about the kinda guy he is.
the kind being an australian that is gonna get raped if he fires them outright, so he's gonna shuffle responsibilities and make their lives miserable until they quit
>>
>>7960478
He's dumb when it comes to art direction. He like to play around with sculpting, plaster, and decorating statue but he cant pull anything out of it. I'm talking about personal goal, like what do you want to do with it or where do you want to go from here, I mean you cant keep spending money, building some statues for your youtube content, didnt sell or do something with it, and hope for a financial stability out of nowhere. Art as a hobby and profession is two different thing that stood on the opposite ends of each other - if you want to make a living out of your art you cant treat that thing as a mere hobby where you can just simply buy art supplies on a whim and waste them away and do whatever sketch without deadline or being burdened by the responsibility of having to improve your skill in art; when it comes to art as profession you have to start a brand, or IP, or even do something with your art like taking commision from people, then you have to keep training, honing your skill, invent your style, and do a lot of stuff with it like pretty much every other working men out there
>>
>>7960459

i think what he did was smart enough, just rent out the first floor of your 2 story office building to another business. being a landlord to some other business seems like easy money.

Why are you guys such petty assholes towards this guy who is an actual artist and something of himself while honing his skills? lol
>>
>>7960570
Literally more skilled 99% of this board. Not even an exaggeration. There are literally only about 6-10 people on this board who could say Jazza is worse than them in one given category. The fact he does multiple mediums even if half assed , and it looks like some low int shit. Most of this board can't even draw a proper head from any angle. Lmfao.
>>
>>7960784
Honestly that’s just always been 4chan culture going back to the very beginning. Anyone who actually tries to achieve something is a fag, a lolcow, a pseud, etc. You have to be miserable like all the rest of the crabs in the bucket.
>>
>>7960796
That's pretty much the issue though. If you're too close in skill to beglets and nodraws you don't have the buffer of awe and skill to get them to shut the fuck up and turn their critical brains off that delude them into thinking they can give input, so they bring you down to their level even if they're objectively worse in skill and proceed to dunning kruger you. You see it all the time on this board. You'd be hard pressed to find an artist approach all mediums and modalities on this board. Someone that can draw very well might not paint well, a digital artist probably can't 3d model as well as they create, a digital artist probably can't do trad as well as 2d, a trad artist wouldn't know how to use software to get the textures that trad naturally gives for free leading to their art looking sterile, and so on.

The irony about all of this with art influencers, is that a lot of the criticism stems from jealousy because some retards on here delude themselves into believing skill is the only metric you need for success. So when someone less successful than them makes it, they can only point at the lack of skill in one category, rather than everything else the person did. Being relatable is a huge thing when it comes to getting an audience. You think people really watch him because he's that skilled? He's not. He's just skilled enough. The rest of the success comes from his audience enjoying him and finding him entertaining. The fact is though that his persona is very juvenile, which is why if you go through his comments you see multiple comments talking about how they used to watch him and how they miss him and blah blah blah but that they've outgrown him. Honestly dude should pivot into some kids art show or some bullshit and sell it to netflix or partner with something like pbs
>>
>>7960801
nice wall of cope, josh or whatever your name is
>>
>>7960802
Everyone knows the only successful artist to browse this board is Proko
>>
>>7960570
You talk as if Jazza didn't make all of that and more. The guy being a Beg managed to create a brand, an incredibly successful youtube channel, he used his brand to monetize viral products, like art supplies sets, etc.
Western capitalism is going through a global crisis, and it will get worse and worse till america get its act together. That's not Jazza's fault, if there is someone who play his cards well, that's him, but right now everyone is getting hit by a crisis that is just starting.

uhhh could only find for atm who are undeniably more skilled in every fundie, apparent even with stylization.

>>7916590
>>7931473
>>7848052

>>7719525
very skilled draftsmen but hard to say better across all fundies as haven't seen their color/light

usually you have people putting their best foot forward for the power level threads but we haven't had one in a while. The point is on /ic/ you only really have a handful of people who are skilled enough to say they're better than Jazza. Even though a lot of his stuff is int and mid af, he still does have a grasp over the fundamentals that many here do not have.
>>
>>7960810
these next ones are more debatable as they're leaning on stylization or only show off strengths in specific categories, but I think at their core they do exemplify good fundamental knowledge and skill that's better than that of Jazza

>>7958152
>>7959438
>>7933280

Then you have randoms that come and go. I also wouldn't consider that guy fucking an ogre woman to be a regular, have only ever seen their work in that specific instance so most likely a lurker only interested in shilling their socials.
>>
>>7960829
>>7960837
imo everybody here is undeniably better than most of /ic/

I looked at Jazza's art again, and I think I was grossly overestimating his skill, desu I think it's more like he's better than 50-60% of /ic/ but the point still stands. This board doesn't have many skilled artists
>>
>>7960823
He's obviously funposting bro.
>>
>>7960809
art supply sets, books, tutorial videos, those are contemporary product because all of them are relative. If you're an artist you sell your artworks and idea, be it something like print that you offer in convention or patreon where people can subscribe to anything that you offer to them each month; if you prefer on doing illustration and design then you sell your skill to people, like those vgen or pixiv request artists. The problem is that jazza is neither artist nor illustrator, he's a youtuber, and being a youtuber means that he had to rely on a bunch of bullshit like content, merch, and youtube monetization to make money instead of anything that artists usually do.
Now combine that thing with his lack of artistic direction and long term artistic goal, and you have an entire studio that are dedicated to nothing but content creation. Shit like this isnt about the status of western or global capitalism lol, another bunch of art youtubers would downsize their business if this is a general economical problem. If you dont have a clear and coherent goal for your business, you will drown in it, its simple; theres no cards to play because he doesnt even know why he was on the table to begin with
>>
>>7960849
>half the permabegs that literally don't even draw are better than him
>the point stands
was the point that he's a shitter?
>>
>>7960913
Yes anon good job, that's exactly what I'm saying, that while he's a shitter, the majority of people on this board criticizing him are shittier.
>>
>>7960915
occam's razor, anon, the shittier shitters are the ones defending their shitter peer, and the half that's better is doing the shitting
unironically, if you're not better than him, you should kill yourself
>>
>>7960920
So to recap here. I pointed out how there are only a handful of artists on this board that I'd consider to be /adv/ or higher to highlight how this board is predominantly begs and low ints, in a very similar category to Jazza. You then take this and say that me pointing out how most artists on this board are worse than him ( a reality) must mean I am worse than him or equally as bad.

Then you arbitrarily throw in occam's razor and a fallacious statement about my skill because I'm pointing out the reality and irony of this board criticizing him. Which if we want to really get into, I think it's far more common that crabs, begs and nodraws talk shit because they're the ones wasting time on this board rather than, I don't know, drawing? I hope for your sake you're part of the group that's better than Jazza cause your logical skills are certainly weird.

Occam's Razor would dictate that you're a troll because this a bait thread.
>>
>>7960931
yeah, not reading all that shit, stay bad lol
>>
>>7960920
>>7960931

>>
>>7960935

>>
>>7960837
I'm one of the anons you mentioned and I still have the guides I bought from him way back when I first started taking art seriously. Time flies, lol.
>>
>>7960796
>>7960823
>>7960829
>>7960837
Its fine for anyone to praise someones artwork and say nice things about them, but when it comes to critique and opinion suddenly your background, your skill, and your entire portfolio matters, and you have to submit a ticket (your drawing) first and claim your category (pre/beg/, /beg/, /int/, /pro/) before you could post your critique over someone elses drawing.
Nice philosophy right there, reminds me of pajeet hindu caste system where lower caste saars cant say shit about higher caste saars even if the lower caste in question is pre/beg/ and the higher caste is /beg/
>>
>>7961019
you thought you actually cooked with this ignoring the fact this is an anonymous forum subject to trolling. To not vet people giving you criticism is retarded. In any collaborative professional environment while you often acquiesce to the director, if you're there, your opinion does get considered due to the fact that by already working there you have proven that you have the skills to give input.
>>
>>7961025
but when it comes to praising other people art suddenly its not a troll and instead a genuine gesture right? I mean following your logic of trolling suspicion or something, people who praise other people art may or may not be a troll who are boosting the poor guy art quality and lead him into some massive overconfident blunder one day
>>
>>7961035
idk if you knew this anon but praise is shallow on a crit board, and toxic positivity/hug boxing/back handed compliments exist. You can get praise from anyone, but constructive criticism is far more helpful since is balances praise with criticism. You'd also be naive to think praise doesn't mean more from someone that's more skilled than you
>>
>>7961025
whats the point of having a discussion then
>>
>>7961046
idk man, the same reason that everybody even comes to this board. it's nice to know that you have a place full of retards grinding away at the same thing as you even if you got the crabs and trolls. /ic/ wouldn't be the same without them, they're like the retarded cousins at the bbq that keep things interesting even though they're obnoxious fucks friction is important within a community. once you get used to them they can even be hilarious when they aren't baiting you with their retard takes
>>
>>7959798

The fact that this beglet motherfucker managed to get as far as he did with his non-existent skill genuinely makes my blood boil.
What the fuck happened to meritocracy? How the fuck can someone this mediocre become this famous?
I hope his channel sinks further and he's forced to work fast food and retail like the rest of us
>>
>>7961066
Sorry anon, but this guy made enough bank to atleast secure funding for a normie company in the food business or any other shit like that. I don't think he needs to be asking for jobs in his home town.
>>
>>7961066
Stemmed from early youtube art scene, back then people are still obsessed with deviantart art style and there's only a handful amount of youtubers who record and post their drawing process to ze internet so the standards are pretty low, super low, back then. Most people who love this guy and defending his soles are growing up with his channel just like how minecraft babies grew up with dantdm. For them jazza artstyle has always been a good one and its normal for him to draw like that
In short, he was there because he had a good start and nothing else, had jazza made his channel today, with all those art tiktok, chinese artists, polish concept artists, japanese illustrators, modern riot splash artists, the entire gacha shit around, he will be in the usual beg bullying thread and get himself chewed by local crabs

I'm struggling to remember if there was ever a time where I actually thought he was a good artist or just entertaining to watch, cause goddamn. Aintnoway I thought this was good. I was watching Sinix around the same time and he was leagues better
>>
>>7961177
>>7961178
This guy is creating a new tier of artists: The Under-Beg.

I get that they're just having fun, but if any of his audience grow up and want to be artists, they're gonna be unlearning bad habits for years and will likely give up. That's sad man.
>>
>>7961197
I think any artist that was going to make something out of themselves was going to eventually move on from him chief. Self driven people typically advocate for themselves in that regard. Ultimately, people have agency and they aren't being forced to take everything he says as gospel. If they're any good they'd quickly realize there are better resources for learning than him. We have proof of that in this thread already with one of /ic/'s better artists having been a viewer of his. I think people like jazza serve a purpose, like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, while they're retards, they do spark people's interest in the subjects and that alone gets people who would otherwise have never given it a chance exposed to it, which in turn can produce far more students than not
>>
>>7961201
Neil DeGrasse Tyson is a fucking genius.
>>
>>7961197
this is more dangerous than any crabs out there imo. For example you can always outpace /ic/ crabs assuming that you have that nietzschean will to be better while people like jazza, the under/beg/, will brand themselves as an art teacher and drag people into the comfortable zone of being a /beg/ and refuse to actually grow out of it
Think about it: this guy has been around for years, people and kids love watching jazza because of his presentation, along the way he coated his problem of being a /beg/ under the guise of content creation, his comment section is full of positive feedback from his viewers without any sharp critics towards fundamental, colors, value, or any other artistic form like that, and he did that kind of drawing for years, for more than a decade now, and he himself didnt improve at all maybe because he thinks that what he did was right or maybe he knew that he's sux at art but decided to keep drawing (making youtube video) anyway to keep the lights on, regardless people like this are dangerous especially because not everyone have the will like that anon up there to detach himself from their role model like jazza and his influence and seek a better way to draw himself

Why do anons hate this guy so much? He may not be the best artist around but he is clearly very competent in the core fundamentals. He works hard, runs multiple studios, and has a fun and energetic personality that gravitates audiences towards him. I don't know why anons seem to have a grudge over my art but it reeks of pettiness and envy. Maybe if you guys spent more time drawing than obsessing over others then maybe you'd have a better shot.
Seriously, grow up
>>
>>7961726
If i was shitty programmer you wouldn't want me to teach you programming no ? Same with drawing, you want people who are good enough and are good enough to explain... Jazza latest video about fixing other art is just meme, you can't be serious.
>>
>>7961735
Okay but that's not how reality works lmfao. People want someone relatable and engaging. PirateSoftware spent 10 years programming bullshit and made millions off it.
>>
>>7961737
PirateSoftware is at best beginner when it comes to programming he is one of the worst grifters in existence of YouTube and yes with Game-Maker even kid can make game with it. Still doesn't mean he is good in fact if you look at critique of his code by other programmers it's a more of a meme then anything.

Same with Art there are people here even on IC that are willing to help if they have time and they do it on level where Jazza would fall short. Not really worth watching if you can find better teachers for free whenever on Youtube or here.
>>
>>7961737
>People want someone relatable and engaging
AND educated, dont forget this one last part in there.
if you want to see some talentless and uneducated guy who are relatable and engaging to everyone then go watch one of those stand up comedy show, that shit took your time and gives you nothing in return. Most of us want to learn and improve ourselves in here, and we could start doing that by stop playing and horsing around in our passion like him. defending jazza like this wont un-downsize his grifting business and make his drawing better btw
