How do you decide the battle of "spend more time on it and try to make it look as good as you can" vs "just move on and finish it so you can start another one"?
>>7987479Usually for me it depends on what I'm in the mood for and how much time I want to spend. Working on new stuff is fun and exciting, but always abandoning a piece before you polish it to the best of your ability can become a bad habit. Some anons out there have been drawing for years and have never finished anything. You can always come back to it in a few days or weeks. With fresh eyes you'll see it a lot differently. If you had a goal with the piece, ask yourself if it achieved that goal yet. How much longer would it take to reach that goal? Are you will to spend that time/effort on it? What would you do differently? What would the goal of your next piece be?
Are you doomed if you got crap taste? I noticed I still struggle with symboldrawing but in new ways. I have gotten deep enough into the fundies to at least boarder on int but I struggle with the actual concepts. I see so many people online making OCs and storytelling and conveying emotion but I still default to just tropes like the thought process is femboy + maid dress end of thought and obviously then everything I do is bland af. My friend has actually tried giving me exercises to fix that habit but I still don't really feel any impulse towards making a real OC with a defined personality and story nstead of just a manifestation of a trope I like. nevermind actual social interaction between characters beyond fucking
Should I color a drawing even tho I am not toally convinced by its quality? My coloring would take some time...
>>7987653If your goal is to just practice coloring specifically then sure, why not. But in general if you’re not happy with a piece you should be comfortable with scrapping it and moving on. Don’t feel chained to it. When you’re in the learning phase you want a tight, fast feedback loop where you iterate as quickly as possible. Moving onto the next drawing will give you an opportunity to apply what you learned from this one and not make the same mistakes again.
Will I be viewed as a woketard if I draw a lot of brown girls? I also like thick lips, big asses, and wavy dark hair...
>>7988268Probably will give big social credit points on reddit
Do you think the third vanishing point exists in a second vertical horizon line?
is this ai
>>7988465Could be both. If I would use AI I definitely would make better pictures with it tho. This one is fairly simple.
How do I know I should give up ?
>>7988553No one has ever made it by quitting. Keep going and you'll get better faggot. I believe in you loser!
>>7988597Well fuck you, you fucking piece of shit! I will give up then so I don’t end up a retarded faggot like you.
I've seen lolisho artists on Fanbox and Patreon but I didn't think these platforms allow that kind of content. Can you post uncensored drawn cunny on there?
How do you find an audience for an ongoing story based webcomic?
>>7988599You're already the retarded faggot ur scared of being. Embrace art, live in the failure and you will emerge a beautifully skilled butterfly. Mwah I love u
>>7988663>You're already the retarded faggot ur scared of being. If I could paint one line of graffiti in my life, this would be it.
>>7988605everything is allowed if you're not caught
How do you usually do gesture? Some artists tend to start off with the head while others start off with a center line or the spine of the body instead. Are there actually no rules when it comes to gesture, so you just do what feels good for you? Also, does the third vanishing point exists in a second vertical horizon line?
>>7988614you need to post it where ever your target audience browses + get lucky
what happened to the courses general?
>>7990408Everything is on telegram and no one is interested in uploading the files somewhere else, so it's been pretty dead.It will pop up again eventually. Maybe. Or you can check the archive.

Should I use brush stabilizers as a beginner?
>>7990945For the most part I think you can just use whatever setting comes with the brush. If you are worried about it still, draw with a real pencil first and try to match the stabilization to that feeling.
is it just me or does krita's brush feels bad to draw with? don't get me wrong it's my main app and i've been using it for years but whenever i try to draw somewhere else (PS/ms paint/magma etc) it just feels better there
People generally seem to like my drawings from photo references more but I find copying from references cheap. Drawing from imagination is definitely more fun to me but it's just so hard to create a quality with it which can compete with photo copies. What should I do? It's what I hate about art. I don't just want to become a photo copy machine but at the same time I also don't want to draw mediocre shit nobody cares about.
