You told another anon before that the one in the middle is a boy, but to me it looks like a tomboy. Maybe you wanted him to be a femboy, but if not, then I suggest making him more masculine.

I can't analyze it. Anyways, just study anatomical differences between males and females. Men have wider shoulders and backs, smaller flatter asses, less curvature of the spine, bigger obliques, more angular or sharp silhouette instead of a round soft one, less facial neotony, etc.

Well, I already said it in general lines. Tell me, anon, what differentiates the boy from the girls besides short hair and small breasts? Do you think women with short hair and small breasts are men? They're called tomboys.

>>8074929
I drew the boy's butt smaller than the girls' butts and he doesn't have breasts

So he's androgynous at best. That's why I said tomboy/femboy.

Had a job interview today, think I did alright but its not what I was really looking for. Didn't draw too much yesterday, but I did create my first brush ever(pressure sensitive opacity round brush). It did alright on one of the portraits, but I think that was more because its a front facing view. Might be better suited for rendering ngl. Did some bullshit for the figs, just not appealing at all. I shouldn't have exaggerated the proportions that much, its just unappealing asf when you don't know what you're doing. I even went back to my earlier pencil brush before aborting it early.
I need to go back to copying, I can feel myself backsliding already. I'm reinforcing bad habits and I still havent even achieved a basic understanding of 3d space. Fuckkk I wish drawing was easier. I am soo close to "getting it" but I keep getting farther and farther everyday.

Not really. See how he has a sharp angular silhouette and has almost no ass at all? He's easily recognizable as a boy. Your drawing has very round shape typical of females.
Anyways, it's just a suggestion. It's up to you whether you'll take it.

Congrats for getting an interview. Market is fucked, the employers have all the power now.
I wonder: how do you experience the market? Do you have experience?
I am thinking of leaving software dev to teach, but due to recent developments it'd probably mean I'll never be able to return to the industry. I'm not quite sure I want to give it up for good.

Hood work, but bottom left figure could have been simplified, while making it truer to ref: her ellbow to the back is almost a straight line, especially the arm is. You made the angle steeper, which is less accurate and makes the drawing flatter, since the arm needs some more space and now looks like a paper sheet instead of a 3d sheet. I like the head left.

I graduated from college like 6 months for IT, still looking for an entry level job. I'm working a minimum wage sales job rn. I don't really have any passion(or talent) in the field, but it is what it is.
>I am thinking of leaving software dev to teach
If you have enough in savings, I'd say go for it. Obv I know jackshit about your personal living situation, but I think people should follow their dreams. Doing anything else is just being a pet fish trapped in a bowl, aimlessly splashing around, anyday liable to being flushed down the toilet. Atleast when doing what you like, you get a modicum of control over your life.

>being a pet fish trapped in a bowl, aimlessly splashing around
In an uncertain economy with something akin to the industrial revolution going on (but without the replacement jobs), this isn't even the worst of fates. The colgen cage is safe at least.

Good luck out there. The junior market is brutal. Not your fault if it takes long. Consider an IT Business Analyst position. It closely resembles what software development is going to be in the future anyway (describing requirements). It's a good starting point towards management and makes an entry into development easier than a smaller unrelated job.

Good figures!
