can you land a decent minimum wage job as a 30+ year old NEET with no work experience and college degree in your country?
>>214460957>minimum wage job>decent
Dutchfag here. Yes. Just pick something like trucking
literally anyone can land a minium wage job even convicted felons
>>214460957anyone can get a job in this shithole, but nobody can get a decent job
>>214461237heh
>college degree>no work experiencewhat the fuck
>>214462009actually i've worked before, but not professional works. things that can't be put in CV.
What type of salary could you live on? No joke I was considering hiring a pinoy to grind some MMOs for me. Playing video games for 6-8 hours per day, not that bad.
>>214462243100-180 a month.
>>214462326I might do something like that then since I'm an MMO junkie
>>214462371ehh, they'd probably ask more than that.180 is comfortable for me because i have no life and barely eat, but who knows.
>>214460957Fries in the bag, wagie.
We're the only country in the world that has an age limit 18-23 and require a college degree for minimum wage jobs like fast food and convenience store.
>>214460957Yes the real question its to see how long you will lastNormies here like to fuck antisocial people so even if you do manage to pass the hr hell the people who work alongside you will try to screw you
>>214462842pretty similar here, 25 the oldest for flipping burgers.also>you need minimum of 2 years of experience to apply for this toilet cleaning job
I got a decent minimum wage job in my country as a peak NEET but I needed connections to get it
Getting a minimum wage job is easy as fuck here, but I don’t want to get a job where I’ll be stuck or where I won’t learn anything useful for the future (like flipping burgers at Burger King), so I’d rather stay jobless
>>214460957Yes, you can work in a nursing home, regardless of your educational background. Many foreigners who cannot speak Japanese also work there.
>>214460957Yeah but you are gonna want to throw in the towel after 3 months and most likely it will be from your co workers. Get a trade or anything education etc. You don’t want to have to deal with adults that has zero sense when it comes to ethics and responsibility when you are sharing the same work space thats just the way it is
>>214460957
>>214460957yeah you can become a bus driver, they pay for your license if you pass the interviews
>>214460957I live in Midwest US and I've gotten almost every job I applied for and have gotten a reply for all of them regardless. The issue is we have shit schools so everyone's uneducated and nobody with an education moves to the Midwest so the jobs avaliable represent that
>>214460957Yes, I know of a junkie fuck who got his life together at 30 something, got a degree and started working as a programmer
I was a neet for over 10 years when I decided to sort my life out at 33. I managed to get a shitty general labor job, and I had to lie my ass off to get it, fake resume, fake references, etc. The job sucked but I worked hard, I became the best guy on my crew, and my employer noticed this and eventually promoted me to heavy equipment operator. They did all the training and really wanted me to succeed because I had such a good attitude. Life is good now, making decent money in a pretty comfy job, and I have a car, my own apartment, and a gf.
>>214463345>pic relImpressive.
>>214460957>30+ year old NEET with no work experience and college degreeno
>>214460957You can, but it will be tough. If you’re healthy you should just join the army, navy, or Air Force and try to get a decent government job after. If you’re not you’ve kinda just gotta take what you can get and work your way into an arrangement that doesn’t suck. >>214466492My brother did something similar. They ended up paying for his college and now he’s one of their engineers. All jobs suck but some are comfy relatively speaking. You just have to work your way into them. They won’t fall out of the sky.
>>214463345Why would you be stuck? Minimum wage jobs are fine to get some experience and spending money while you go through school or apprenticeship or just time finding something better. I knew a guy that worked in fast food until he was 27, then a restaurant and bar until he was 34 but in that time he got promoted to bartender, and then at 36 started with other bartenders their own bar and restaurant, which seems very successful as far as I can tell. There’s opportunity in most things if you’re willing to compete for it. It’s a dog eat dog world unfortunately but the silver lining is that it’s pretty simple: get aggressive and you get to eat.
>>214463345Minimum wage in Mexico is some sisyphus shit. Like 9-12 hours daily and people don't really achieve anything in their jobs.
>>214467610doting parents
>>214467610you dont have much of a choice when nobody would hire youyou cant put being a garbage collector on your resume
>>214460957Start your own company.
>>214461237I think he meant entry level job.
>>214468953same here lmao im thinking im gonna do a masters in my meme degree (socialk anthropology) just to do something
