>>214514604>when will we finally have flag dumps Manhattan anon. i need to update my mapsI've been focused on making some more changes on the hosting side to improve stability, and had a bit of a false start with hosting a local archive for country flags for dumps. At this point I instead will rely on archives for the data which is not ideal but we need to get the people their dumps.I can then add the country data to https://api.flagtism.com/int/recent_flags_api2.php , which will then need to be either processed into XML if you want to use flagminer.I should also note that in theory flagminer could be made to work now to generate current dumps.>why haven't you posted your trip to Canada yetDon't have can proxy to dump, my other trips have been posted of course.

LazioProvince of RomeRomaMunicipio Roma VIIthe underground in rome has some funny names for sure
Municipio Roma VIII
(skipping a couple bus municipalities that i will post later anyway)Rocca di Papaimmediatly southeast of Rome, a small mountain range called the Alban hills is found. It's part of the anti-Apennine range, a series of ranges separated from the main chain of the Apennines by deep valleyson one of these hills (Monte Cavo, ancient Mons Albanus) the temple of Jupiter Latiaris, one of the most important religious sites in the whole Roman Empire, was found. today the site is unfortunately degraded and occupied by an abandoned monastery and illegal communication towerspic related is the Sacra Via (holy way), the original roman road that climbed up the temple
it was a pleasant surprise to see in the distance the Circeo promontory and the Ponza islands. views like this surely generated legends and stories in the ancient Romans, whose original homeland (Latium Vetus)'s southern limit was indeed Mount Circeo
different view this time from the highest point of the Alban hills. the hills are actually of volcanic origin and they're sometimes called the "Latium volcano". In the past the volcano was much much taller and what remains today are the calderaspic related, the inner caldera with Monte Cavo on the left
Velletri, locality Pian dei Gerrithose hills might not look like much but they're the outer rim of the volcano. you can clearly see it on satellite imagery

AricciaLatium Vetus, the homeland of the Ancient Romans(note for muttmericans: that's the sea, not the ocean)
*STOCK PHOTO ALERT*Albano Lazialethis nice bridge leads to Albano's most prized feature: the railway station, which allowed me to reach Castel Gandolfo before dark. otherwise i could have walked all the way adding to my already 23 km hike of that dayalso it's always nice to add a new railway line to your collections; for some reason, in the roman castles alone (that's how the villages in the Alban hills are called) there are THREE distinct railways: one to Frascati, one to Albano and one to Velletri
Castel Gandolfofamous as the pope's summer residence. some parts of town are even extraterritorial property of the Holy See, a status similar to that of embassies. i entered a church with such status just because i could view over the other lake of the Alban hills, lake Albano. a view of the town here >>214484745

RomaMunicipio Roma V
Municipio Roma IMontithe next day after the usual exam i did a walk to """climb""" the remaining hills of Rome that i was missingpic related, the Esquiline hill (nowadays basically a busy intersection)
the Esquiline hill has two subpeaks, the Oppian hill (seen here >>214504462) and Fagutal, pic related. the summit is conveniently occupied by a Sapienza University courtyard (formerly property of nearby San Pietro in Vincoli church, where the alleged chains of Saint Peter are kept for the tourist to flock to). that means: free bathroom in the middle of Rome!and before you fag start implying: Fagutal comes from "fagus", beech tree
CelioCaelian hill, probably my favourite one. not very touristy and surrounded by a nice park
Campitellithe saddle between the Aventine hill (see next post) and the Palatine hill (in the background) was excavated to make room for the Circus Maximus (pic related). here ancient blokes rode their chariots 'n shitfun fact: the word "palace" comes from the Palatine hill because the first palaces in ancient Rome were built there. you can still see one of them
Ripathe Aventine hill, my last one, is located here. definitely the one with the best views

The green is olivine, one of my favourite minerals. As soon as i'll have good geology tools i'll 100% go therefor muttmericans, another similar outcrop is the San Carlos volcanic field in Arizona. looks like they're somewhat rare overall

>>214946830So, let me get this correctly, is this the correct logo for Adailiya in the Capital Governorate?
>>214960695definitely. It's what i immediatly find too with the correct search terms العديلية جمعية (<coop society> <area>, reading right to left) another example: Wafra Farms (pic related), which are another area from Wafra Residential and the two have different logos. Not bad for a supermarketalso some areas are purely statistical, like the Al Sour Gardens. I will use shape flags for those lacking societies, like i will use the seal of Kuwait port authority for uninhabited port areas or of the Kuwait oil company or something for the oil field.Unfortunately i couldn't find anything for Failaka Island, truly a shame
>>214962388>Unfortunately i couldn't find anything for Failaka IslandThere ya go. I'll post another pic
>>214962388>>214963860Same logo on the left.
>>214962388>seal of Kuwait port authority for uninhabited port areas>Kuwait oil company or something for the oil fieldSmart, that's exactly what I thought for the airport district (area)

>false flagging
i know this is bait but i want to tell you flaggots a story. before my times the main mantainer of the repository was a nigger called Utrecht. Utrecht was the main supporter of the "official flags" faggotry*, at the time Goslar was cycling in Czechia and Slovakia so Utrecht took charge of making the flags therein those countries almost all municipalities have flags, but a few don't. Goslar indeed went to a couple of those, and Utrecht refused to do anything about it. now there are nice holes in the map where nobody will ever go. he rather spent all of his time flagifying CoAs, which is not only pointless but straight up wrong. if anything those are the "fake" flags rather that placeholders; the nigger in the post above me is too retarded to understand but nobody ever pretended that placeholders are actual flagsi don't know what was going on in Utrecht's mind, but i think he didn't really understand what the general was actually about despite having been a very dedicated regular for several years. as a consequence he ended up leaving permanently, now he must be on social media or some latrine like thattldr: the "official flags" faggotry is what killed /flag/tldr2: kill yourself
Counties are up to date as of a week ago. Colored by when first visited, same color means counties were visited on the same trip or in a similar timeframe.
>>214970954you have to install extraflags to post here
>>214970551>he rather spent all of his time flagifying CoAsOh my fucking god are you talking about the bullshit flags in Austria?
>>214970954Great! Now install extraflags. If you like that type of maps and traveling to different counties in the US and tracking them, you'll love extraflags blogposting even more.
>>214971071no that was another dude way before him (MasterAutismo)i don't even want to think about all the time he spent flagifying those thousands of CoAs for nothing; i replaced all of his hard work in a few days with flags made with a script
>>214971177What's an example of one of those Utrecht flags? Now I'm really curious
>>214971288most of them are in the Netherlands and Belgium where he worked on the most.there are still a few in Czechia and Slovakia for municipalities or places with CoA but not flag (in Slovakia you can recognize them for not being striped like all others). there were a few in Romania too before i redid the countryalso remember those flags without gloss in Colombia? they were made before Utrecht's time. when he fully flagged Colombia, he added all the missing flags without fixing the previous ones! *facepalm*

New flag, the Tashkent District didn't have a border sign like Zangiota, but I found a neighborhood sign.
Also, the other day, I got the Mirobod District. The photo is from Taras Shevchenko Street, where many cool bars and cafes are.
Chorsu Bazaar is included in the UNESCO Tentative WHS list (Tashkent Modernist Architecture. Modernity and tradition in Central Asia)This is my 15th THWS.
