It's about international culture and language, which inherently implies international news, but world news is all supposed to go to /pol/ or /news/. So it's difficult to know if you're breaking the rules or not sometimes. I think the /int/ jannies are mostly fair. The food and cooking ones are the worst, I get banned about once a month from there compared to maybe once a year or so on any other board.
