Why do people often become more stubborn and mean-spirited as they get older? In our country, the elderly population will soon exceed 70%, and that really worries me.Just imagine the majority of society being people who refuse to listen to others, are extremely stubborn, and rely heavily on social welfare. Why is it that the older people get, the more stubborn and mean-spirited they seem to become?
>>214583177I'm noticeably more mean-spirited and stubborn than when I was 22 6 years ago.Its mostly a factor of not being able to realise your dreams and getting backstabbed by other people repeatedly.Rich people are barely bitter
>>214583177they get proud and think they know everything, whenever i try to say to my father that something he does is wrong in the most gentle way he insults me and tells me i know this before you was born, you dont know anything
>>214583177One of the only thing keeping me alive and hopeful is knowing that in 30 or 40 years, every race will be old as fuck with zero kids to replace them while mine will still be young and plentiful. Going to be a very brutal and depressing reality for these old fucks when t hey realize how shitty life is as an old man, how having children/family was supposed to help cope with that, and how bitter and spiteful they'll be when they'll young [take a guess] families enjoying they wither away in an already broken body.
