thats how i learned it

learned it "accidentally" over the years by going on english internet when I was in highschool

no one actually learns english from school
>>
at school learning mostly concentrated on grammar and learning as much new words as possible. i struggled a lot and english was my least favorite subject alongside maths. then i turned 12 and started using the internet more and started watching youtube videos in english and in just one summer i became good enough that i never needed to study the subject from there onwards. the grammar i learned at school definitely helped but as always actual motivation is the most important thing.

Si je joue des jeux vidéo en français, est-ce que j’apprendrai la langue?

Parfois J’aime bien lire les forums sur JV
>>
this could be applied to any language, but it had been very hard to collect ample amount of audio learning materials with appropriate difficulty and written scripts until Youtube got the feature of automatic subtitles around 2020.

Then give me some other fucking alternatives then. It’s the closest thing you fucks have to a god damn image board beside /fr/.
>>
I learned it mostly from tv and later on social media platforms

There is nothing. The whole french internet is just jvc, it has been for twenty years. Just nafri culture and the same content creators from 2010. French culture is dead and I have no idea why you would learn French. You won't find anything interesting online
>>
as others have said
learning English in school was impossible for me and I learned it through internet and games

>I have no idea why you would learn French.
because i like france and french people!

>French culture is dead and I have no idea why you would learn French
Because it’s a very pleasant language, and I need it for Quebec. You have extremely kino literature, too
>>
fact
anglos can only fetishize languages and cultures and can never learn about other cultures respectfully
