>>214601149honestly as much as I believe that graphics don't matter that much, the gameboy SP screen was just too small to make games that were beautiful and fun. playing even gameboy games on my 16 inch laptop screen or even a TV is just way more immersive of an experience. actually having headphones to hear the music instead of those tinny stupid fucking speakers. I loved the gameboy SP when I was a kid but I can firmly say, nostalgia aside, that it cannot compete effectively with gaming technology today, the indie games we have access to like Silksong are just more well designed, more fun, more beautiful in every single way.
