Why aren't other countries interested in American history when it's so interesting even with how short it is compared to other countries'?

a large era of american history (1776-1861) requires you to be politician/lawyer-brained in order to understand the most significant events. many decisions that would shape our nation's future were being hashed out through legislative debates/court decisions/speeches that can get pretty boring if you're not already autistic about it.
