Why aren't other countries interested in American history when it's so interesting even with how short it is compared to other countries'?
>>
>we killed a bunch of our fellow whites so that bonqueesha and lamar can murder Katie on the train or whatever

riveting history

My house is older than your "country". American history is dogshit. Americans revere their presidents and generals as some sort of mythical Roman consuls, but they're just hillbillies from bumfuck Iowa.

most of it is boring and ugly and reminds people that america is as bad as nazi germany
>>
a large era of american history (1776-1861) requires you to be politician/lawyer-brained in order to understand the most significant events. many decisions that would shape our nation's future were being hashed out through legislative debates/court decisions/speeches that can get pretty boring if you're not already autistic about it.

George Washington was literally Cincinnatus reincarnated.

America's just a young country, but the average terminally online person nowadays knows more about American politics and culture than they do about their own, it's practically impossible to use any major social media without constantly hearing about some happening in US, from my perspective UK/DE/FR/IT/RU are practically irrelevant culturally nowadays while US's kind of having a double edged effect where their own culture is kind of being promoted into the world's pop culture and online culture, but in return that world's pop culture and online culture which is also getting influenced by outsiders is now affecting US's culture. Will be interesting to see if in a few decades considering the indian and nigerian population numbers and their english speaker numbers if they'll heavily influence and change american culture through the internet

Im really interested in the early days of America but the movie The Patriot is too long and havent committed to watching it
If theres a movie about the war against the Philippines or Japan in ww2 please let me know

Cincinnatus wasn't a rich plantation owner, he was a farmer who tilled his own fields. Washington betrayed his country so he could pay less taxes.

Interesting thoughts. My prediction is that India and Nigeria will influence American culture as much as Indonesian cultures influences wider Islamic culture. Just about not at all.

You don't think that tens of millions of indians that will be living in anglosphere in 2050s let's say, and the hundreds of millions posting on the global internet using English language and maybe even larping as americans or whatever won't get to influence american culture, when just 4chan shitposters got to influence the president of the united states lol. I think this'll be a big element of the future, all english speakers exposed to internet access will be India and Nigeria coded. But it still depends if they'll have charisma, black people are not even the largest minority in US yet they influence culture, slangs etc a lot.

There are houses in the US older than the US federal government, the Fairbanks House in Dedham, MA dates back to the 17th century. It's still one of the oldest governments in the world, the colonial history of the US dates back to the 16th century when the French had colonies as old as the 1530s when Jacques Cartier laid out the groundwork for colonization.
