I am 22 and turn 23 in March but right now I am going back to school to be a nurse since I am too old to start the process of becoming a doctor I also only have 5486 dollars in savings I only make 17 an hour I have to pay 300 dollars in rent>Just some PS2 games I started playing because I wish I was able to experience ps2
Why do you think you're too old?
>>214603693time to start sucking dick for cash
>>214603890do you have any experience in that?
>>214603872Because I am old
>>214603944You're barely an adult, you have at least 60 years of life left to live, no doors are closed for another 20 years. It's very cliché, but you don't want to look back on your 20s regretting you didn't do things because you thought you were too old.
>>214604071This.This is very good advice.
>>214603693Do you have college >>214603693credits already. If you don't just finish the degree you started and take the premed courses.
>>214604071i think he means because of how the selection process of becoming a doctor is in the USyou need to apply like a year or two ahead of time and they're extremely strict about everythingthey'd probably look at his gap in education and go "OH MY GOYIM THIS MAN IS NOT DEDICATED ENOUGH TO EVEN GET THROUGH THE EASY PART OF SCHOOLING" and he'll have wasted a bunch of time and money just trying to get to that pointi wanted to be an optometrist because my grades were good, but gave up because i had one semester where my health plummeted and made me too depressed to focus on school, and my grades dropping just enough to matter significantly reduced my chancesinstead now i'm switching to engineering which can pay just as well and takes half the amount of schooling, and i started my own business for side money and to put down extra experience down on my resume (what i do is related to engineering so it will help)
>>214604164Eh I am gonna be a nurse just 2 years rn
>>214604213also, just to put into perspective how bad things are here, only about 5% of QUALIFIED applicants to med school actually get accepted, and all those people that were rejected had to dedicate their whole 4 years beforehand to classes specific to the premed programwith optometrists its a little better at 15% acceptance, but theres only about 22 schools in the US for it so you dont have that many chances to get into one, and might end up having to move several states away
>>214603693>I'm turning 24 in a month>going to school for CNC machining>$0 to my name besides the rebursement I get from FASFA, which d $1500, which close to life changing for me because of my situation>currently unemployed>no apartment, live with my grandmother, which means no girls and rarely any friends since her house is a messYou seriously need to shut the fuck up and show some gratitude, I mean it.
