The government of Nepal has just banned Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
Official reason given: “maintaining social harmony.”

It feels like a big step back for freedom of expression here.
Do anons from other countries have similar restrictions?

I think it's a good step towards freedom actually

Goyslop media controls what your countrymen think. You don't want nose people to actually dictates what's good or bad do you?

The third world is a petri dish for social media sites to run their mind controlling tier experiments. It's literally impossible to survive here if you don't have a Facebook account. Your job, and every service has to get it to contact you.
