Because all the ones that actually did anything meaningful got bred out and became even more of a minority than they already were. Crazy how 100 years ago India used to be associated with things like feats of athleticism like muscle control, abundant wild life like Africa and bongs stationed in British Raj reporting events of Yogis levitating to now being an abhorrent shithole even by other shitholes like Latin America and the Middle East
