Swedish is nice and good help around the other languages apart from danish no clue what those guys are doing but they sound genuinely like downs syndrome people

>>214606895Not really anything like a standard one. Norwegian, Faroese, and Icelandic come from Old West Norse, while Danish and Swedish come from Old East Norse. Danish and Swedish are more closely related than Norwegian and Swedish in that sense. The pronunciation just hides it.

It's us who have a hard time understanding spoken danish. I don't know what causes the discrepency. Tldr: with danish you'll be able to understand everyone. With swedish, everyone will understand you
