The retarded tattoos and probably a kebab in his hand that is out of frame.

I've been in this country for a year and conclude that this bydło nation has no other interests besides kebabs and tattoos.

that's what happens if your domestic cuisine is bland and just repulsive
there is a reason why even Polish nationalists have to cope and run "Polish kebab shops" because they dislike immigrants but also can't stop eating ethnic food
>>
>>214610621
>that's what happens if your domestic cuisine is bland and just repulsive

It is neither bland nor repulsive. You're just a surplus bydło grown by the communists.

There's nothing appealing or exotic about some mystery meat slop covered in cabbage and mayonnaise.
>>
>>214610621
Ive been to poland 4 times and they have good food, while I would say they definetely need to work on its presentation it clear has a theme and a distinct taste to it.
>>
>>214610702
yes for some reason Poles prefer that 'mystery meat slop' than anything Polish
Poles run kebab shops
Turks NEVER run Polish restaurants nor do they eat anything Polish
know the difference
>>
>>214610730
>and they have good food,
no we don't
or more like - you can find something good in every cuisine of the world, even swedish, but on average it is objectively shit and cannot compare to Med/Middle Eastern cuisine

>I would say they definetely need to work on its presentation
the problem isn't with that foreigners don't eat our food, the problem is that Poles themselves don't eat it anymore, after they got access to ethnic cuisine. Advertising or changing the form won't help with that, because Poles just know the taste of their domestic cuisine - and they simply don't like it after they got exposed to spicy oriental tastes

at best some people try fusion cuisine by merging Polish dishes with oriental tastes, like 'pierogi with chorizo' and stuff like this, but well, this is not Polish cuisine anymore.

99% of all poles i worked with had that grug face, some nerdish or twinkish guys now and then but its rare.
every polish student or tech worker i met was nerdy or twink looking, some straight out nordic looking.
why? is there a genetic class divide in poland?
meanwhile, at my 100% norwegian job we got all kinds of types, from the cute twinks to fat grugs like me. we stand out when working with poles, they all look the same we look like idk what?

>why? is there a genetic class divide in poland?
it's not a topic that would be discussed here but naturally it is, our middle class mostly comes from non-Slavic background (Jewish, German, even quite exotic like Armenian or Italian), meanwhile people from rural areas are just pure Slavs/Poles

If I weren't a user of this board and weren't obsessed about genetics, I wouldn't pay attention to this divide because apparently everyone here ignores that but if you look at that objectively it's indeed pretty clear that this distinction exists, myself I come from a small town but now live in a big one and you just see that in people's faces - though it gets more and more diluted as more people migrate from the countryside to big cities, yet any time you see some 'old money' guy, whose family has lived in the big city for 5+ generations, you can just see that in their faces most likely, they look more Germanic/Jewish on average.

interesting. for me as an outsider who has to deal with poles at work all the time its a divide clear as day and i always wondered about it? nothing wrong with these guys they are total bro's and many have climbed to project manager or above in their norwegian job, some even started their own business here.
i was about to say i havent noticed the same with polish women but now that i think about it i have. the stereotypical toilet cleaner is the slavic faced woman, the ones who isnt i dont really notice they just blend in. they can still be toilet cleaners though but you dont think ohh thats a polish woman.

also, educated people from big cities usually tend to have German surnames more often than any other group, but yet again this is kinda ignored here, maybe other that occasional jokes about our right-wing politicians (right-wing here means anti-German) having surnames like Mentzen or Braun but still most people think it's just coincidence and they don't see the pattern there, that these people are leaders of (whatever) political parties because they come from an educated middle class background and THAT'S WHY German surnames are overrepresented among them, no matter what political views they actually espouse, left or right (the leader of the far-left party has a surname "Zandberg" which is quite telling too).

Idk if people here are so ignorant, or in denial, or just indifferent, but the fact that people of German (also Jewish and some other) origin are overrrepresented in our political/economic/cultural/scientific life is rather clear to anyone who just sees things as they are.

Poles and Croats are truly the most inferior people among the Slavs. Your passion for self-abasement is simply astounding.
>>
>>214612096
is that a bad thing?
also, didnt hitler kill off most of your jews? how did so many survive?
from what i remember we only had one important jewish politican here. moustache man truly wiped the floor here.
>>
>>214612399
easy to say for you if you had your own native Russian middle class
we never had it, Poles were only either nobility (a very narrow group) or peasants. Our cities were always majority Jewish-German.
I guess Croats have the same complex since their cities were majority Italian and German

>>
>>214612534
>is that a bad thing?
i don't think so, just curiosity, since as i said, this thing is totally irrelevant to most Poles and we don't have an ethnic conflict over it, unlike let's say Finland where these class-ethnic differences are still somehow pronounced and evoke a feeling of bitterness
our middle class speaks Polish and usually only Polish, often they don't even know about their German/Jewish origin themselves
>also, didnt hitler kill off most of your jews? how did so many survive?
mostly poor Jews from the ghetto died, urban intelligentsia had much higher chance to survive because they could blend in and pretend to be Poles or even Germans themselves, also since they were rich and had connections, they knew more people that could help him
it is a scientifically proven thing as well that educated middle class Jews had much higher chance of survival than working-class ghetto inhabitants.

Okay, I don't blame you. As is known, the last 150 years of its rule, the Russian "Romanovs" dynasty was also genetically mainly German. Moreover, they gained power in a very fraudulent way.
>>
>>214612703
>the Russian "Romanovs" dynasty was also genetically mainly German
ok but that's a very small part of the elites anyway
the vast majority of Russian middle class/intelligentsia, city dwellers etc., were ethnic Russians. Especially that Jews were banned in Russian cities outside the Pale of Settlement. Meanwhile in Poland pretty much all the business, industry, "creative class" and everything else, was of foreign origin, or at least foreigners were vastly overrepresented there. Which is also why Poles don't really have famous scientists or artists unlike Russians.

You know, probably 90% of Russians, as well as 90% of Poles were peasants/serfs, that's why our countries as a whole were and are so backwards. But still, the 5-10% of your middle class was of Russian origin too (mostly), while here it was mostly Germans and Jews. So Russia at least has a significant number of renowned individuals that made some important contribution to global culture/science, while Poland has much fewer of them. I think the only fully ethnically Polish person that contributed something important before WW2 was Marie Curie, I can't really find any other example.

how does the "upper" class educated poles cope with the fact the "lower" class poles who do tradie jobs abroad completely outearn them?
at my parents farm, after i and my brother moved out, they needed some more hands during summer and luck had it 3 polish students came on bikes and asked for work. they where hired on the spot, given a spare house we had and dad gave them an official work contract through a thing we have that can best be translated to "farmer staffing company" so they paid taxes but got holiday pay, sick leave, healthcare, work permits and all that. they where also free to work on any other farm who was part of that program. they came back for 5-6 summers or so and it basicly paid for their studies.
when they finally got jobs, i know one guy ended up in microsoft, they pay was just a fraction of what they made tossing haybales and painting barns in norway and they kinda regretted their choice of carreer. my parents was invited to two of these guys weddings and gave each a substantial cash gift to help them off. if they had stayed in norway and worked their way up they would be making 70k/year by now, minimum.

I think you can ask about that pretty much everyone, I'm sure a skilled ethnic Norwegian electrician can make more than an average corpo worker in Oslo, yet I don't think the latter really envies the former. Not everything is about money, it's also about your lifestyle, what you like doing at life, where you live and so on.

I think it might have been a more divisive question 20 years ago, when indeed salaries in Poland were too low to survive, so it made sense for everyone to change their profession to some trade and start working in the west but nowadays salaries here are high enough so they allow you decent life and at this point life becomes more about choice than about struggle for survival, then you stop counting everything with euros and start caring about your pleasure, entertainment and free time more.

I make 1700 eur net in an easy office job here, obviously if I worked as a plumber in Norway I could make twice as much but well, then I would have to be a plumber in Norway and it's simply not worth the hassle since my current income allows me to live decently and afford everything I want and need.
>>
>>214614151
also, Norway is horribly expensive so obviously 70k in Norway doesn't translate to 70k in Poland 1:1.
These guys would have to rent a house in Norway, pay Norwegian taxes, buy overpriced food in Norwegian supermarkets + like every Germanic country, Norway probably has these specific autistic laws you can only understand and follow if you were born and raised in such a country, so like you can't take a shower after 10pm or you can't buy alcohol before 10am and at night or you have to paint your house red and only red etc etc. Let alone the climate, afaik it's not even about temperature (Poland has colder winters) but lack of sun and constant grayness, I know many Poles complain about that.
>>
>>214614151
this was 10-15 years ago, i remember one guy (the microsoft guy) said the only housing he could afford for him and his gf when he got this job was a bed, not a room, not an apartment, not a house, but a bed in a shared room. grim.
>1700
some of the guys i work with regulary make up to 5000/month and spend half the year chilling in poland, building a house, investing in property, drinking it all away...
>>
>>214614303
nah not entirely correct, many foreign workers get their housing paid for. they often work out of town/on site (i usually do as well) then all meals and expences are also paid for. there is far less weird rules here than what you think (you are correct on the alcohol sale) and taxes aint that bad.

>some of the guys i work with regulary make up to 5000/month and spend half the year chilling in poland, building a house, investing in property, drinking it all away...
yeah but you just have to like this lifestyle so you work hard for half a year, you don't get any days off, you share a cramped flat with many roommates etc only to have fun for the rest of the year
some people prefer a more balanced lifestyle
>>214614490
ok, i don't know Norway's reality well enough since no one from my family worked there (for some reason my family mostly chose Belgium) but if Poles ever complain about life in Scandinavia/Germanic countries that's usually about climate+high prices+unusual rules. Some people just can't get used to it so they come back to Poland, even if it comes with a slump in their salary, to each his own.
>>
>>214615953
It's time to do something with your pathetic life mate. It's not a joke. You're seriously a problem for society. When will your mom kick you out from her home?
>>
>>214611370
Polish people often have that soft, puffy look, almost like Wall-E Americans on elderly mopeds. Add some tribal tattoos, chains, and a colorful vocabulary, plus a voice that shifts through three dramatic tones to surprise whoever’s around with utter chaos. Usually, they’re standing shirtless in the middle of the night behind a shop, just as Polish workers are tossing out stock deemed “unfit for human consumption.”

The bigger the crackhead, the more they complain—about others being dumb, ugly, from a small town, or failing to meet their “higher standards” and refined taste in drug combinations. They’re working two jobs but still look homeless.
>>
>>214616467
Quit it now and get the job or kys finally
>>
>>214615953
as i said, i do work that way myself. i rarely share flats, its usually a hotel room, airbnb or cabin per person and i definetly get days or even weeks off. its really not a bad lifestyle, 8h of work basicly ruin the day, you can only do so much after work. its a lot better to just work 12h and get days off later.
>>
>>214616720

okay, if you like it this way
anyway, it's not for everyone, and still, as a Pole in Norway you will be always a foreigner, it's not the same experience a native gets. Hard to make friends, always looked down, if you live in a small town and people know you're Polish then you're observed by security guards in a supermarket more cautiously and so on. Not everyone likes it and money can't compensate everything.
