what was university like for you in your country?
University-like. Next question!
Like high school with older people.Still a school after all.
never went
Fun times,kinda miss them.
>>214617166i went to lectures the first 2 or 3 times and realized i didn't actually have to do that and just stopped going. only went for the exams. spent 4 years just chilling
i dropped out of school when i was 14 and i noticed that what the teachers wanted to teach (indoctrinate) me was becoming less relevant for my life and more relevant for shaping me into a slave for the systemi wasnt going to be another brick in the wall o algoinstead i became a 4chan incel
>>214617166Best time of my life, I was learning things that I actually wanted to learn, and that I could use all of them to have a significant impact on reality. It probably saved my life doing it because I did use a lot of things that I learned there to improve my own life and deal with a lot of health problems.
dont remember any fun times, it was depressing since i was broke and missed out on everything majority of the time
>>214617166I didn't go to Uni :(My grades were average at best, my family couldn't afford Uni so I went to technical school for applied geodesy.
>>214617166peak suicidal ideation but now that its over its like i have failed so throughouly i am like a dead man walking and i cant care much more about that person who shares my name and sneaks old fake memories into my dreams
>>214617166Lonely
>>214619832Plus I did study philosophy on my own for the first time there. So that probably has a lot of influence on my impressions of it.
>>214617166I got a useless degree that has never helped me in my working life. However I got a taste of the normie life which was a lot of fun. 10 years later I'm 30 and have zero friends and zero life outside of work.
First time I just went to classes and went home and didn’t interact with anyone.Second time I was working full time and went to uni one day a week because my employer paid for my tuition, because all my course mates were also colleagues we had a good laugh and went out for drinks sometimes.
>>214617166>wake up in apartment >walk to uni >sit in classes >go home for lunch >go back to uni >study >go home to apartment >play vidya >repeat for 3 years >graduate >get job in a field not even remotely related to my degree
>>214617166it was the most fun i've hadi wish i spent more time in the humanties instead of STEMcelmaxxing, though
>>214617166My diploma may as well say "wasted 5 years of life award"
>>214619940how can you be lonely on campus living in a dorm
>>214623768Dorms here are like any other apartment building. I don't know my neighbors now and I didn't back then. Very easy to be lonely in uni.
>>214617166Laughably terrible. I went to a commuter college and didn't hangout with anyone outside school and there was no college life there at all or any parties or anything. I would come straight home after classes (lived with parents the whole time to save money) and jerk off to yiff and watch anime. I only made one friend the whole time who is also a loser and is now a perma neet. I ended up with a meme degree I've never used and I've only ever worked hs grad jobs since graduation. Complete waste of time but par for the course for me since I'm worthless garbage.
I only had 3-4 friends, and most of it happened during covid, so I dropped out -- it was too depressing, even if covid made it easier to cheat during exams
>>214617166I quit. Couldn't bear the social aspects and wasn't motivated to go through with it due to personal circumstances. Will give it another go in a couple of years. Mature students are not expected to participate in the extra scholarly activities
>>214617166Go to class, sit in the back not talking to anyone Go home rinse and repeat
>>214617166Uni was basically just studying, being sleep deprived, classes, more studying, going to a party and regretting it because even more sleep deprived after and sitting in my room at my pc. 2% fun. 98% misery.
>>214617166i spent most of my time at the bar in unilearned so much
>>214618912>Like high school with older people."older"in middle school you think they're all grown ups.in high school you think they're like you but grown up.in college you realize they're all like you. still children in their heads.and you have to be. anyone who's "grown up" in the brain is too rigid to learn all that they make you learn. only child brains can handle that.anyone shitting on college "kids" being too immature hasn't been asked to do anything mentally challenging in many many years.
>>214626516>sit in the backthen you won't hear the professor over all the chattering children who go there to socialize instead of paying attention.sit in the first row. you'll hear better and the professor will recognize you.
>>214617166fun, interesting and constructive
>>214624045>meme degreeand what would that be, on paper?
>>214617166>ArgentinaFirst year was good, a lot of parties and failed exams. Then I had to stop joking and it was all stress and pain.
>>214623208kek, know the feeling
>>214617166the girl i had a massive crush on and was 100% my type and was constantly flirting with me noticed i didnt make any moves for like 6 months despite her making cookies for me, buying me gifts, and sitting on my lap at house parties, then she started dating some other guy and it mindbroke me and i flunked like 3 exams and dropped out and now im taking a gap year for 3.5 years. Does this happen in your cunt
