Agreed. Gen X was called X because it signified "unknown", as in algebra where X is usually used. After gen X, we have the Millennials but then Gen Y, Z? That's just lazy. I would call Gen Y onwards as the Internet Gen, because all of them were born after the internet has been fully established. Gens are not arbitarily defined by years, rather they are defined by significant events or great shifts in society.
