A new document for my East German collection, awarding a "Brotherhood-in-Arms" medal to a retired Colonel in the Stasi. The medal itself is very plain (also not original to this exact document) but not often you find things identifiably belonging to a senior Stasi officer.Do you have any sort of collections in your country? Could be militaria, miniatures, memorabilia, games, toys or any other hobbies, share photos if you wish.
>>214646688The Soviet counterpart, Medal "For the Strengthening of Combat Cooperation".Just a much nicer medal. I don't know why the Germans made theirs so poorly, they're normally quite good too.
>>214646688>>214646753Cool. Do you collect Communist state memorabilia in general?
>>214647171Mostly just East German/ things with an East German connection. That Soviet medal came with its original document awarded to a Lieutenant-Colonel in the East German Army, or this Polish medal awarded to an East German Party functionary.I do sometimes pick up general Pact stuff when it pops up and looks interesting but it's not my focus.
vpn off you dumb fuck
