Why do Japanese cry when they learn English?https://streamable.com/x5m0vx
Because it reminds them of what happened when they touched our boats.
>>214655242>o'clocke>o'clockoWhy don't Japanese have a system that produces the sounds of consonants alone?Ka ki ku ke ko. I know they don't have many sounds in their language, but surely they can learn to pronounce the sound for 'k' without attaching a vowel to it.

>>214656537Chinese speakers are the same. Trump is "Trumpu"
>>214657043Do they also do the AIUEO thing where they have vowels but no stand alone consonants?
>>214655242sorry but he doesnt look japanese.probably or highly likely they are chinese.>you rook samebuy glasses
>>214657087They have some but only in specific instances. Things ending with P or B always have a vowel after and you hear this when Chinese speakers are new to English. Often this will be in the form of an "A" after a word as this also signifies a casual nature and is hard to shake off. "I wanta, I hate-a"
>>214657205is it physically difficult for a Chinese of Japanese speaker to pronounce the "P" or "K" sound with no vowels ?for example it's physical difficult for me to roll Rs because the sound does exist in french, is it the same ?
