how old are you and what's your situation (work/uni/NEET)?

personally I have one close friend I met in uni who I see multiple times per week. Besides that I have one buddy from back in high school who I see at max 1-2x per year but still text with regularly. And my brother in law. That's it for friendships.

I was taking a shuttle back home from the dealership's mechanic. There was another passenger, a guy around my age, going to a very nearby place. The driver kept trying to get us to be friends.

but we just kinda chuckled (forced), and didn't talk to each other, let alone make plans to hang out. No regrets, that sounds like a pain.
