I was a california hater, brainwashed by chud memes hating on cali.
Visiting it changed me. It is truly amazing.

The native Americans in that region literally lived in the garden of Eden. Nobody had to work because the weather was constantly perfect and fruit grew on trees

In the 70s the Getty family built a full size Roman domisnin the hills of Malibu and turned it into a museum for Greco Roman shit.
They have Roman and Greek artefacts from ancient times. I saw a fragment from a copy of the Odyssey dated back to the first century AD

They've even got a beach for broccoli heads

by having all of the benefits of being part of the USA; but separated by the Sierra Nevada Mountains, makes California somewhat cut-off. But they are not an isolated provincial mountain people like the Appalachians. They are coastal, generally more tolerant and open to weirdos with weird ideas, as well as more open to foreign talent and foreign goods.

USA was already a world-power when California was still being settled. And there was less of an entrenched hereditary aristocracy on the West Coast, than on the East Coast. This allowed for more dynamism and innovation.

Good public universities are an indirect way for tax dollars to subsidize the Californian economy with an educated workforce, and research that can then be taken into the for-profit sector. US military investments helped lay a foundation of that success in aviation and tech. But those stimuli only took-off in California, because of the ambitious businessmen, and an innovation focused attitude.

>>
>>214664937
I dunno I've only been to the ones out in Inyo County. But they got a few of them.

I dropped acid on the desert in my buddy's VW bus that night and stared at the stars with my chick
>>
>>214665028
wtf I didn't realize california had hot springs that beautiful

I went to some in montana like that but the ones in california I went to looked like dog shit. literally mud baths in the middle of the desert
>>
Did they ever had bears there?

I remember watching a couple of months ago Dirty Harry and reaching the end where there's a zoom out during the credits and it shows a small lake with a nearby canal. I searched for the location and it turned out that the lake dried up and no longer exists. I wonder how many similar places in California have dried up as well. That's pretty sad.

>>214665083

i mostly hated growing up in the bay area
now im in sactown and this city is shit and it doesnt even have good weather

San Francisco and Berkeley are bigger origin points of that kind of pluralistic liberal ideology intellectually.

>>
>>214665702
i dont give a crap about that
i want law and order
lock up the mentally deranged
put security on the lightrail
stop setting the price of the fucking ambulance
start unapologetically arresting people when they do crimes
figure out a way to start shutting up the shitlibs
and fucking let people build these bullshit regulations and bureaucracies and unions are literal mafias
course none of that is going to happen
like literally id vote for anybody who bangs the drum of law and order im sick of this

The natives were killing Grizzlys for years too. Grizzlys are the assholes of bears. They're gone and much friendlier Black Bears are still common though.

god point reyes is so cool
I'd go as far to say its underrated, despite being close to the bay area nobody ever really goes there

it's a huge natural reserve for some of the most unique geological formations in california

basically as the state was getting cleaved in half by some fault zone like a million years ago it formed point reyes

but what is it? basically a bunch of gentle rolling hills and little beach enclaves like this with some forest too
>>
>>214666233
it's the placed where all the hippies went cause that celebrity thought it was cool there or something
i mean for fuck's sake least go to like reno or las vegas

they just kicked out all the farmers at point reyes
id prefer if they just let the cattle graze there so I can see both wild elk and cattle on the rolling green hills next to the ocean like they do in oregon
>>
Such a shame is full of mexicans
>>
>>214666344

the mexicans are bad but i hate the white shitlibs infinitely worse and it's not even close

seeing the cows on those hills was so beautiful

never heard of this before but its so dumb
>>
>>214666502
Living among white libtards is probably ok so long they are not actively funneling brown people into your living space

Of course eventually they -will- do it and then ot will become a shithole by the time white libtards get bitchslapped back to reality or go extinct.
Such is the cycle of life!
>>
So point Reyes, cool. What's other Middle Calikino, I feel like I'm missing out on a whole new world
>>
>>214666590
i was raised by two of them
and most of these shitlibs dont care cause they live in a nice suburb
>>
>>214666502
Bro white shitlibs are infinitely nicer people to have around in day to day life than anybody else. They're annoying but that's about it.
>>214666590
White shitlibs are wealthy and live fairly conservative lives by conventional standards in reality. It's conservatives here that are low class trashy people.
>>
>>214666908
fuck you we're fundamentally different people and im ashamed i share the same state as you
>>
>>214666772
Were they bitchy, cynical and passive agressive? They give off that vibe
>>
>>214660074
Ruin the greatest land of all time with endless immigration and shit tier politics? I don't know.
>>
>>214666951
I was raised by two shitlibs in the suburbs too and you know I'm right. Wealthy and educated people are liberal in America and have been for awhile. It's low brow trashy plebians that are republicans in the United States. If not they're penny pinching miserly small business owners.
>>
>>214666993
no they were quite nice and i was raised in a relatively nice area and funded me going to college
they can be that and also unimaginably stupid at the same time
not mutually exclusive
that's the boring truth of the white shitlib
they cant go extinct fast enough
theyre also why i dont identify with being white or feel any pride in it and couldnt care less what percentage of the population whites are
>>214667074
go shove it
>>
>>214660074
I'd still rather live in new york. too many asians and mexicans in calibrownia

Burning Man was already dead by the time they officially sold out tbf. It had been attracting tech bros and social media influencers for years prior.
>>
>>214667227
>>214667144
There's an island called Puerto Rico that 4 hours away from NY. They are brown Latinx with the added feature of having black blood too.
They are all American citizens and have American citiship and can come to America without any problems and there's about 11 million of them in NY.

There are also Jamaicans, Dominicans, Haitians, all the detritus of the Caribbean. And then there's people from everywhere else on earth, NY is the new rome
>>
>>214667247
Electric Daisy Carnival sold out in like 2010. Burning Man sold out around 2008
