We got forced back into the office five days a week except they had downsized the space so that people were working elbow to elbow at first-come first-serve desks. Prior to COVID we had two WFH days and dedicated desks in a semi-open office.I asked management if they planned to change any of this now that we were back and got bluntly told no. Rumor was they were hoping people would voluntarily quit. I went in but did no or bad work every day for eight months until I finally got fired last month.
