Video games were killed by social media dopamine. Why press buttons and put in a small amount of effort to beat a boss or figure out stats/strategy when you can just scroll infinitely on social media and see cars crashing, people pretending to be idiots and movie scenes/cats pushing objects off of tables? With AI coming, that infinite scroll will be actually infinite.
