but cooking as a trade is a high intensity multitasking environment, and he wants to demonstrate the pressure to perform if you're ambitious in this

a lot of chefs in the industry do get burnout. I don't think he is all show even, he got several stomach ulcers, probably stress related

Both don't tolerate fuckups. Especially at high-end establishments. Do you want to pay 100$+ for shitty food? No. So the chef must have near 100% success rate.

yeah cooking is a high pressure job but its more entertaining with the yelling and stuff. would be too boring just watching a bunch of stressed chefs watching over 5 dishes each
