>>214787740I got a couple.
I got the 20 cents one, dunno what red coins logo is supposed to be
>>214787768It‘s the glagolithic H afaik. Ancient croatian (ostrogothic) script.
>>214787740Why is there a Serbian man on a Croatian coin?
>>214787740LMAO they put tesla on the coin serbs seething hard right now
>>214787844As you can see by picrel, he obviously resides in Zagreb and is thus a Croat.
>>214787740euro won't be in circulation for a few more months so not yet.
>>214787803
>>214787967Are all the jeets residing in Zagreb also Croats?
This is the newest one we‘ve minted like 2 months ago. It‘s our first king who was crowned in 925 AD. It‘s just one of the many commemorations we‘re doing this year to celebrate 1100 years since the founding of the Croatian kingdom. Also our designs suck ass.
>>214788036Only if they‘re 15 ft tall and made of bronze.
>>214788085It‘s modelled after this equestrian statue of him in Zagreb.
>>214788085Looks like CGI
>>214788257Yeah… our graphic design is terrible. Our heraldry was based tho. Not that we were good at making designs, just that we had cool ones.
>>214787740Why did they put a Serbian man on them?
>>214788405You‘re late, Diego>>214787844>>214787953
>>214788439Darn
>>214787740We don't use the Euro so no.
>>214788508Jag love Kroner. Fun fact, our pre-euro currency was supposed to be called crowns as well but then (iirc) our first president had other ideas.
>>214787740Wait, is that Mikołaj Cieśla on the coin? Why would you put a famous Polish inventor on Croatian coins?
>>214788628Go to the tesla thread currently up, you braindead, reddittier, Pole.
>>214788558Based. I'm probably like one of 2% of people here in Sweden who still prefer cash and use mostly physical money.
>>214788659Who shat in your cereal? I just want you to stop appropriating famous Polish heroes.
>>214787740Should have made more designs instead of reusing Tesla and the symbol on three different coins. I like the 1€ one though, very nice
>>214788716I prefer cash as well. What‘s annoying is some places like barbershops and pubs take only cash and some places take only cards.
>>214788763I agree. But there have been a few more made. They all look like shit.
>>214788781Yeah same here. A lot of smaller businesses don't accept cash anymore since it's too expensive for them to handle. Everything is designed for digital payment today. But all major stores do so it's ok. For now.
>>214788085>we‘ve mintedSurprisingly you do, not all yuro countries mint their coins.
>>214787844Hrvatskan are history gypsies
>>214789374Imagine being a mintlet.
>>214787740That ferret sure looks cute.
>>214791026I thought it was a mink
>>214791090You're probably right, I'm not an expertCute nevertheless
>>214791090>>214791026It‘s a marten. In croatian: Kuna. Which was also the name of the currency before the Euro. And marten pelts were used as currency in the middle ages.
>>214787740Is that Klaus Tessler, a fanous German ornithologist?
>>214791379Nice bit of trivia, thanks.
>>214791629Forgot to mention that they made coins in the 12th or 13th century depicting a marten because the coin was worth a single marten pelt (iirc, its on the wiki anyways). It was called banovac.
>>214787740>swastika drawn by a kindergartener>nigga who isn’t even croatian>a fucking mink>shape of the country so someone could finally point it out on a mapbout the respect the euro deserves tbhon
>>214791855As if finland has any more relevancy than Croatia.
>>214791855I ain't gonna throw stones 'cause I'm in a glass house, but dude… Finland has like a dicklet lion (six times), birds and berries.
subtle swastika and tesla lmao
>>214787740We found the 1 euro a month or so ago
Wish we still made stamps like these.
