>>214881964you should visit the orthodox vatican in istanbul. it doesn't have the same kind of independence as the catholic vatican in italy but the place itself is very mesmerizing. it doesn't have the glamour of cathedrals in europe but you can see almost a thousand year old paintings of jesus and mary and very old, polished benches for attendees. the structure of the building and the air inside is noticeably from a different age of humanity. it's like a time capsule from centuries ago.
