1x10 42,5 kgs db rows (like +4 reps ig, idk the exact number tbf)
1x3+1x2 83,75 kgs (new pr) unilateral plate loaded low row

Also, I did a body composition test today and I gained 2,5 kgs in a month out of which according to the machine all 2,5 kgs is fat, which I doubt. However, I think I'll cut for a bit now.

No you don't, it's boring as shit and housing is a nightmare.
>b-b-b-b-but the average wage is 4000€ how could it possibly be bad?
Average. The majority of people work closer to 3000-3500.
And 1000€/month lands you a room in a boarding house. 1500€ if you want a single-room studio. 2000€ if you want something that resembles an appartement.
I live on the french side of the border. Night and day. I have 80m2 for 900€.
It's still really, really boring though.
People come here to make money then leave.
Or they come here because they have money, can afford to live here and want the tax benefits.
It's good to be a basic wagie living in France or Belgium and make twice what you'd make domestically, or if you are rich enough to worry about taxation on inheritance, real estate, wealth tax, that kind of stuff.
Have I said something about Luxembourg being boring? Because it is really, really boring once you've done the few trails in the northern country (which are very nice) and a bit of cycling, you've seen everything.

>And 1000€/month lands you a room in a boarding house. 1500€ if you want a single-room studio. 2000€ if you want something that resembles an appartement.
That's a half to a third of salary for rent, that's quite common in many big cities, it isn't great but it's not like Luxembourg is particularly bad, and that's a single salary, with two salaries I'm sure professionals can afford rent, probably the only people who aren't that well off are people with unskilled jobs in the service sector like waiters.
>I live on the french side of the border. Night and day. I have 80m2 for 900€.
And with a French salary it would be a third to a half of your salary, so the same.
>It's still really, really boring though.
What would you want for it not to be boring? I feel like Luxembourg probably have something to do.
>Have I said something about Luxembourg being boring? Because it is really, really boring once you've done the few trails in the northern country (which are very nice) and a bit of cycling, you've seen everything.
Well, you've seen everything because it's a small country, but you can easily visit France, Germany, Belgium or the Netherlands, I'm sure if you take a small piece of France around a mid sized city it isn't that exciting either.

If you're fine living in a boarding house, or even elligible. Which you aren't if you're a dude close to or over 30. Or if you're fine living in 20m2. That's the big issue there.
>And with a French salary it would be a third to a half of your salary, so the same.
Yeah but I don't make a french salary, that's the entire point and that's why it's good to be a borderr worker.
>Well, you've seen everything because it's a small country, but you can easily visit France, Germany, Belgium or the Netherlands
Yes, but if the main draw of a city is that you can easily get to more interesting cities, that does not make the initial city interesting. If anything, that makes it even more boring in comparison.
Also, I was unpleasantly surprised at how distant the Netherlands actually are when you want to go there. No direct connection at all, no high-speed trains, you need to at best take the regional trait to Brussels if not the bus. That was a big disappointment arriving here.
More on the boring part in (cont.) because the place itself is one thing, the other has to do with the people.
>>
>Just got humiliated by a Dominican kid
I don't get paid enough.
>>
>>215020666
>What would you want for it not to be boring?
It's largely down to the people. Luxembourg is pretty unique culturally but not in a very exciting way. It's made up of some very opposite "classes" with opposite mindsets.
>local luxembourgish people, basically insular extended families that really feel like peasants who got rich very quickly but still have a village mindset and only live among themselves with the other families they like and hold eternal grudges against the families they don't like
>short-term people, people who come in from all over the world to work entry jobs as consultants or in banking, many of which live across the border because they couldn't afford to live in Luxembourg or would need to seriously lower their standards of living compared to what they could afford in Belgium or France. People like this rarely stay too long and use their experience here as a springboard to build their lives elsewhere : once you've done your years in Luxembourg, as a border-worker, you've put some money to the side and you've accrued a lot of experience so you can advance in your career and find a job in the places you want to be.
>the 1% tax-evaders who buy high-end appartements in town or estates in the country and stay there because they wouldn't want to frequent the plebs
>the stable diaspora, mostly portuguese, italian and romanian families who now live there and typically work the middle-jobs and do fairly well for themselves in the family house they bought here years ago for 10% of what it's worth today
These groups of people do not interact much with each other so as a result, social life and events in Luxembourg aren't that great. It's kind of a sleepy place where people are very private. Which I completely understand : valuing your family life is great. It makes it kind of dull if you arrive here with no attaches because it's a place where you socialize through pre-existing structures : your wider family, your diaspora or your colleagues.

>If you're fine living in a boarding house, or even elligible. Which you aren't if you're a dude close to or over 30. Or if you're fine living in 20m2. That's the big issue there.
20m2 is good because there's less stuff to clean.
>Yeah but I don't make a french salary, that's the entire point and that's why it's good to be a borderr worker.
I agree that if you can being a border worker is great, but I what I'm trying to say is that the price of rent in Luxembourg relative to local salaries doesn't seem that high compared to other big cities, all those problems exist in Paris too, for example.
>Yes, but if the main draw of a city is that you can easily get to more interesting cities, that does not make the initial city interesting. If anything, that makes it even more boring in comparison.
What I was trying to say is that you can't just simply say Luxembourg is more boring that France for example because France is much bigger, if you compare the country of Luxembourg with a similary sized province in France, Belgium or Germany they are probably as equally interesting.
If you say France is more interesting because Calais and Marsaille are very different cities and you can visit both in France then there's nothing stopping you to visit places that are 500 km away from Luxembourg either.
>>
>>215021180
>short-term people, people who come in from all over the world to work entry jobs as consultants or in banking
For me, this sounds nice, you can meet people from everywhere and because of the temporal nature there's always a rotation of new people to meet.
>social life and events in Luxembourg aren't that great
Well I don't really enjoy drinking and going out that much so maybe that's why Luxembourg doesn't seem like a grim place for me the same it would to a normiemaxxed guy like you.

I bet you looked in Luxembourg-Ville proper which has some neat neighbourhoods for sure.
But the rest of the country has a lot of pretty dull residential constructions from the 2000s, pretty standardized and clean in the modern "affordable minimalism" way. Stuff keeps being torn down and rebuilt into higher value, more modern housing. You have some protected historical areas like Echternach (beautiful place, very much worth a visit if you're in the area) but if you go through Bettembourg or worse yet Esch, it's not great.
>>215021299
>all those problems exist in Paris too, for example
It's far worse because the prices I gave you off the top of my head are not in town, it would be in surrounding cities. Studios in Lux--Ville can start at 2000€. It's just not viable if you aren't in a couple.
>>215021365
>For me, this sounds nice, you can meet people from everywhere
(You) can't because they work at Deloitte and (You) don't so (You)'re not invited at their afterworks. Again, that's the main element of cultural life in Luxembourg : everything is insular so if you're not part of an insular culture, you're alone on a tiny raft in an empty ocean and you can't reach any island.
It's not that I'm a turbonormie, it's just that it gets lonely after a while y'know? All my friends and family are hundreds of kilometers apart and the colleagues I have at work all have other stuff going on and are close to retirement so let's just say I'm not going to find people to play MtG with at work.
When I say there's not a lot of events, I'm not thinking of concerts and such, I'm thinking in general. You're a con-goer? There's ONE con per year and it's tiny, have fun going to Paris instead. You're into video games? There's two local associations and they exist mostly to create social spaces for youne people to speak luxembourgish in so if you're over 30 and don't speak, it's just not for you. You want to play DnD or some other PnP? Same thing because it's the same orgs.

POINT BEING :
it's very easy to see the size of the paycheck and the pretty houses and think that Luxembourg is going to be great.
I certainly thought so when I arrived.
You hear the same thing a lot from people moving to Switzerland with eyes set on the seemingly high number at the bottom of the work contract.
And now the money is really good but it just gets very lonely and boring.I sure do love the cycling you can do in there and in Moselle, but I dunno, maybe it's just me aging but having e-friends and distant acquaintances just doesn't do it, man.
When your only in-person interactions are for work, it feels lonely. That's not specific to where I am, but where I am does not have a lot of avenues to fix the problem. Oh well.

See, one of the reasons I say that specifically about Luxembourg is because other places I've moved to and lived in were considerably better in that regard.
Lived in Freiburg, which was very nice. Rennes was great too as bretons in general really like it if you show interest in Brittany and their local stuff. Central France/Auvergne was pretty closed off in that small town kind of way where you stick to yourself and have a very active family life. Umbria in Italy was similar but I spoke zero italian and wasn't there for long so I didn't expact to be able to get much out of it.
But Luxembourg is pretty uniquely alienating in my experience at least.

it really depends on where you are. if you are in a big city it's not a problem. people over 40 might get mad but they won't do anything. out in the villages priests, imams, and traditional religious leaders are powerful and can turn a town against you. you should just try to blend in.

Okay am back from rooning and getting the meat time for some Momo blogpost.

We went to the meeting and told her everything that doesn't work right now and told her about how to fix it but like I said before she told us that would take too much time and she also said she'd be doing our job at this point so we didn't go further than that. She'll be organizing meeting reports once every week from now o, I hope that will work because I'm tired of this bullshit.

Also rooning session was nice but I lost some cardio and for some reason the road was full of spider web like things caught in the grass and plants then through my clothes it was unpleasant, also floating in air, I've never seen that desu I was covered by the webs at some point I had to stop rooning to remove the webs off me.

French and German bros could you tell me which position was more popularly taken by people in your countries/ the most popular take you were taught in school about 1870? Some believe that Bismarck wanted to annex Alsace-Lorraine and only pretended not to want the province to not seem greedy, and some believe he legitimately thought it was a bad idea and only agreed because popular support forced his hand. Please tell me the dominant perspective in your cunts xoxo:

>"while the annexation of Alsace-Lorraine – strongly advocated by the military and reluctantly accepted by German chancellor Otto von Bismarck – imposed a lasting burden on Franco-German relations"
-The Sleepwalkers, Cristopher Clark

>"The annexation of Alsace-Lorraine – strongly advocated by Bismarck – traumatized the French political elite and imposed a lasting burden on Franco-German relations.54 Alsace-Lorraine became the holy grail of the French cult of revanche, providing the focus for successive waves of chauvinist agitation. Pressing for it may well have been the ‘worst mistake’ of Bismarck’s political career"

For what I remember :
>not that much is said about the conflict proper

Thank you for responding Frenchbros. It makes sense that they didn't focus much on it in school since it has more to do with German internal politics than France. I hope the Germans went a bit more in-depth since it was pivotal moment for the 2nd Reich's fate but according to the Germanons here their education isn't standardized on a national level and curriculums vary by state so they might not have been taught about it

In general, french education doesn't go too in-depth when it comes to the 19th century because it was really, really chaotic and complicated and understanding stuff like "congress Europe" , the waltz of nations or how the Third Republic worked is too much to ask of a 15 year old.
We hear of the big elements :
>the napoleonic age, that's the part your hear the most about
>the Restoration and how it wasn't great
>Louis-Philippe and the missed opportunity at a constitutional monarchy
>Napoleon III's rise and fall, quickly
>3rd Republic and the Colonies
>quick, let's move on to WW1
It's funny because it completely contradicts the litterature program that has to spend a lot of time on 19th century figures
>Hugo
>Balzac
>Zola
Not very easy to explain if you don't have at least an idea of what the Second Empire was.
From my own memory and hearing from friends and siblings, you could get a specific topic more in-depth depending on what your teacher felt like talking about

>the campains in north-Africa
>the scramble for China
>the railroad

I remember trying to sprout some pepper and tomato seeds this year and last year, and we tried to plant them into bigger pots, but the bigger pots made it difficult for the plant to get it's necessary hydration. I would try again but I don't know where the pots are.

You should try Stardew Valley if you haven't already
>>

It doesn't run on my potato pc. Needs to be x64. And I learned there's a program that should help x32 bit systems run x64 programs, but it needs a specific file that was not installed in my windows version.
I'm gonna commit seppuku.

It's an x32 bit computer, it was made in 2008. You can imagine.
Also I feel so tired and gloomy, guuuh. I want anything good to happen already.
