No but from the store the people touch them with their dirty hands and from the garden they tend to have dust and stuff.
We just rinse them under the water.

The norm everywhere is all of those you don't peel.
The only exception is wild mushrooms: you carefully remove dirt with a brush and cook them as they are, washing them would make them lose flavor.
