Tabasco has no flavour and is the worst hot sauce on the market. Americans, tell me some good ones

And I also wish for that. One day, my Hellenic brother; one day.

can this board stop being gay for at least one (uno) thread?
>>

it's salty and spicy, what else do you need.
but i like these and i doubt they ship em to britain.
>>
>>215303471
its not really a hot sauce and its mostly the vinegar that makes people either love it or hate it. i love it, but its not for everything.

Sriracha is very broad, two different brands taste wildly different

I like the flying goose sweet and sour sriracha, really goated product

Rectal Rocket Fuel isn't bad. Anal Holocaust is spicy but not much flavor. Ass in The Tub picante is what you want

can't for the life of me understand why this shit is so popular. I rank it among the worst hot sauces
>>
>>215303689
Tabasco just has a vaguely vinegary taste and a vaguely hot spice to it. It's like the hot sauce equivalent of a really shit red wine that's just a hit of alcohol

it's good on eggs, like that's the one thing I'll have tabasco on over something else

Feel like a lot of hot sauce discussions are people jerking off over how mild they consider stuff. I like Tabasco and the cock Sriracha, but can't find the cock Sriracha anymore.
>>
>>215304254
>>215304254
That's not why I started the thread at all, I like Cholula and Franks which are both widespread and fairly mild. I think the green pepper Tabasco is better than the original one too (but still quite bland). The issue for me is the lack of flavour, not heat.

is the habanero flavor any better? I remember getting the regular one long ago but it tasted like peppery vinegar, and a very faint one at that
>>

It's slightly sweeter yeah, I personally like it better

>>
>>215305387
For no particular reason, I'd give Yellow Bird a go. I'm not sure whether I'll find it though.
I like eating hot sauces with cured meats and strong, savoury cheddars or blue cheese, so it's got to be something with a nice flavour as well as a complementary level of heat.

The pepper plant and crystal are the only ones i see not already mentioned that you should get. Pepper plant is exceptional. Crystal is the louisiana hot sauce imo.

I actually rate Tabasco as one of the best hot sauces. It's spicy as well as tasteful, don't know what's not to like for a hot sauce enjoyer.

Sriracha is the best because it has so much garlic in it. The other sauces are just hot peppers and vinegar.

Save yourself some money, buy a bottle of vinegar and some pepper powder, pour vinegar on your food and add pepper, there is your Tabasco. Because it's literally just pepper and vinegar. You say you like it, you ike the taste of vinegar.

It's fermented pepper sauce with vinegar. I will continue to buy Tabasco sauce for the following reasons:

1.) I like the taste
2.) I like the fact that it comes in a neat little glass bottle
3.) It's a family-owned company started and run by white Americans; this is something worth preserving
4.) The sauce is made on a bizarre inland island in cult-like conditions by a possibly incestuous sauce-sacrifice community, which also adds some mystique to it
5.) It doesn't destroy my anus on the way out
>>
>>215310304
>It's fermented pepper sauce with vinegar
Oh i'm sorry.
> pour vinegar, put a pepper in it, leave for a week
Makes a lot of difference.
>I like the fact that it comes in a neat little glass bottle
Vinegar also comes in glass bottles.
>It doesn't destroy my anus on the way out
Because it's mostly vinegar.
And i don't hate vinegar per say, it's good in moderation and when proper blend other components. Which is not the case with Tabasco.

>David Tran began making chili sauces in 1975 in his native Vietnam, where his brother grew chili peppers on a farm north of Saigon.
