Is it really more women than men? Does it depend on the language?
>>215322758I did multiple language classes during uni. All of them had much more females except Russian
>>215322931>except RussianЭтo кoнeц.
>>215322931How is the ratio in French?
>>215323029The funny thing was that half of the girls in the Russian course came from the countries of the former Soviet Union and were supposed to learn the language because of their parents
>>215322758Depends on the country and language a lot. Men and women on average know the same numbers of languages to the same ability, however in some places they are more likely to take classes.Usually Korean is preferred by women more. Japanese about equal. German is more men. Languages likely to be popular among women: Italian, French, any of the Scandinavian languages. And also English, especially if they host like tea parties or literature club.
>>215323071More females but a more equal gender ratio compared to Swedish
>>215323096I bet all the men were brown incels and learned to to fuck russian women. What a joke of a nation.
>>215322758If you take day classes they are usually filled with middle-age ladies. Like spouses of immigrants who moved in to that country. Generally asian language classes have more asians even in white countries. Don't ask me why. Similar phenomenon to this >>215323096 .Universities often open their language classes to the general public for extra money. Good opportunity to be a creep. I've lived in many countries. And these are the trends I noticed.
>>215324871Idk if it's a thing irl or not, but at least a few strange Turkish girls liked larping as Japanese
