Mexicans

I've come to a definition of what is a nation, it is a group who shares these three pillars:

>Religion
(They broadly agree on a basic religious principle, as in german catholic and german protestants but not "german" hindus)
>Language
(As in they speak the same or somewhat intelligible languages, like egyptian arabic and syrian arabic)
>History
(As in they have existed as a economically interlinked people for the last century or so, like you wouldn't say australians and unitedstatians are the same people)

There's an extra pillar wich is statehood, but that comes with a ceiling that is geography, and there are countless peoples without nations

And similarly to how you tend to build walls within a house these metaphorical pillars form metaphorical rooms within the building that is a nation-state, with distinct groups economic racial and religious carving their own sections within a state
