The question is how to get into conversations with these girls. Its really one of the first things that deteriorates as you lose practice, the ability to just spontaneously start conversations with them. For example, there's a girl working the info desk at the college I think is cute. She takes classes as well and I've seen her giving me eyes before. The trouble is cooking up something to start a conversation between us. I don't and never really did totally cold approaches, just doesn't really work imo. You need some kind of conversational hook to get your foot in the door and I'm really lacking the ability to spot them and make them up.
