Some day, I will die. When that day comes, I will know my era is ending and the sun is setting on my story. All of my hopes, dreams, doubts, worries, all of my love and all of my memories will vanish, only to be told as a tale by my descendants, and then finally forgotten. I am only able to live with this as I still believe in my race, and I believe in our future, and I know that we will continue to do great things, even if these things are achieved later than they should be, or with bloodshed and sacrifice. I believe in my race as I was born with it and it shapes my identity, thus giving order and meaning to an otherwise chaotic and unfeeling universe.

However, I don't think some 'people' are capable of believing in that which gives them purpose, (their race). I think certain 'people' lack such empathy that they are unable to see the bigger picture and the greater human struggle. I think our society is too tolerant of such 'people'. I'd say there is a difference between these people and brainlets that simply lack the intellectual capacity to sufficiently analyse information from their surroundings and draw insightful and rational conclusions independently of external input; the brainlets may have empathy, but they don't know how best to help their race, the first group lack any moral or spiritual tethers to their surroundings.

So you're saying we should all be less empathetic towards those who are less empathetic?

I'm saying society is too tolerant of them. By all means, allow them to participate in society, but do not allow them too much power. An almost impossible task, however

race is a fiction. Its like trying to reduce the meaning of life to the purity of a random glass of water pulled out of the ocean on any random day. That water does not have any inherent special quality or anything that makes it different from the other water around it. Its impossible to have that water in the sea and have it remain as a static unchanging thing.
there is no birth or death or peoples or faiths or ideologies, just the divine energy transforming into many new and different forms every moment
