In most nordic countries it’s considered rude to sit next to a stranger on public transportEveryone will sit with one seat between eachother, and in the even you need to sit next to someone it’s customary to excuse yourself for doing itIs this true in your country too?
>>215346782Yea basically. Nobody wants to sit next to each other and if there is a free seat they will sit there instead unless you know each other or there are no more spaces.
>>215346782If there are free seats, yeah we sit with the space between. If there is no other free seats, then we sit next to each other unfortunately. But no one is excusing for that or some shit.
>>215347024>>215347059Same here.lLooks like it has nothing to do with Nordic culture, it's simply human nature.
>>215347059>>215347102Even if you have no option it’s rude to invade peoples personal spaceYou should apologize
It's human nature to give strangers space. Same rules as urinals for seating in buses, movie theatres, waiting rooms, etc.
>>215346782Explain something Sven... ...why would you pay 98% income tax on your 20,000 USD/year engineering salary so that Mathilda Linda Lindstrom and her new husband Boobapabongo can pop out six children in social housing in Rinkeby.....but you won't sit next to them on a bus?
>>215346782So quirky and unique! It's not like it happens literally everywhere else!
>>215346782Yes this happens in my country too
>>215346782Not true in my country. We tend to stick together, if there's 20 empty seats and 1 person sitting, we will sit next to that person and invade their personal space.
