In Netherlands the perception of Polish people is becoming more and more positive.
You are actually seen as higher quality labour over Dutch and Morrocan ones. It's true many people say it.

To be honest it's probably the best time for us to live too, despite being shittier than in other countries. I mean the living of common people.

why would you prefer anyone over your countrymen?
I cancel my bolt/uber rides if I see a foreigner with very few exceptions

Yes and historically when Poland is doing well and on the upswing "someone" ruins everything.

Depends, sometimes the "ruins" part dosnt come untill 500-600 years later

It's a thing in most places, excluding African or Asian shitholes with never-ending civil wars and coups.
I was thinking about it when I was riding a train a few days ago. It was clean, air-conditioned, other passengers were calm, and the whole journey was safe and comfortable. Compared to the standards from previous decades, it's like a luxury, and I have access to that as a man working as an intern.
Then, when I go to the shop, I can buy food from all over the world, which is something that only nobility or kings from previous centuries could afford. I can eat meat almost every day, another luxury which has become a standard.
People love to complain, but the world is getting better.

I think this for Croatia but for a much longer period. In fact, I think the last 30 years have actually been the golden years.
>>
>>215351785
Thats a really nice attitude to have anon
I am also trying to be grateful for everyday I live here after coming from a country stricken with poverty
If you are not born with such luxuries, it becomes difficult to reconcile that you get to have all this while other people suffer so much
I like to think that by escaping and making something of myself here that I am doing good for the whole world in some small way

It would be stalemate, but if one side was forced to attack sweden would eventually win

>better access to international markets
>larger navy, they can shut down finnish access to atlantic
>better infrastructure in north, which would allow better grounds for invasion
>better marine landing capabilities, finland would have to station precious soldiers on the coast to prevent naval invasion, which would mean less soldiers in north

that is some hustle-n-bustle, living in a shotgun apartment copium

you're wrong about eating meat everyday. That was normal even in the deepest 90s crisis.

Wrong thread

Another Poland thread yawn
Don't come complaining here in 10 years when your country gets flooded by Arabs and Indians all because they heard you and every Polish media outlet not shut up about Poland having le high GDP PPP per capita and building a bunch of buildings with old looking exteriors to make them look western European

Now compare that to living standards from the interwar period, or before. People used to eat less than 20 kg of meat per year.

>People love to complain, but the world is getting better.
The problem behind this line of reasoning is that it isn't practically guaranteed that the world will continue improving. This could be humanity's peak before everything reverts to normal.

You do NOT svffer. I never want to see a "I SVFFER in Polska" thread ever again or i will heem the insolent OP who makes it. This is not a joke i will personally swim to Europe and shatter the impudent Pole's kneecaps with a hammer.
