Those born in 2000-2004 got the perfect mix of old-school and modern. It's the greatest generation of all time internationally.

>dude I was born in that timespan and hence it’s the best
tiresome and immature
>>
>>215352053
They got troons and capeshit
>>
I was born in that timeframe but didn't experience any of that because I was born in brownshit and in a rural area at that.
>>
>>215352053
If you spend high school under lockdown you win in life. I fucking hate high school.
>>
>>215352053
TRVKE.
>>215352087
Same. I had dialup internet until 2013.
Guess it made me less affected and more nostalgic.
>>
>>215352053
The 2000s were the last cool decade, yeah
>>
>>215352235
I only got true, unmoderated access to the internet in 2016 and ended up in this website only a few years after, insane how little time it took me.
>>
>>215352495
It makes us resistant to brainrot.
Could be worse.

>>215352345
True.
>>
if you were born in 2000+ you didn't exist any of the pre-9/11, pre-always on internet, pre-social media, cool as fuck 90s.
>>
>>215352053
nah i was born in 2000 and only got to experience the last dying breathes of the old school stuff
>>
>>215352686
breaths*
>>
I was born in 1990 and I grew up watching Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and Saturday Morning Cartoons. Everyday I thank God for making me a 90's kid.
>>
>>215352053
You wish kiddo, you know nothing old school at all
>>
>>215352053
Please, tell me about the old school stuff someone who was a child when the PS2 got released experienced

Pic unrelated, right? You probably never saw a CRT monitor in the wild, faggot zoomer. That kid was probably born in the 80s
>>
>>215352053
zoomers have nothing to be proud of so they have to post pictures from 1995. go watch some tik toks on your phone
>>
>>215352963
>PS2
if somebody was born in 2004 there's a very good chance their first console was a PS4 (FOUR)
a truly cursed generation
>>
>>215352583
2000's kids barely remember the world pre-2007 lmao, its shit since then
>>
>>215352053
I think that mostly applies to us born in east europe because we used older "retro" tech longer because we're poor.
For example I used windows 95 and windows XP until 2015 when I switched to win 10 directly only using win 7 for a month
t. born in 2000
>>
>>215353041
>only getting your first console as a 10-year-old
grim
>>
>>215353009
crts were wide spread until the 2010s you decrepit old faggot lol
>>
>>215355546
that kid is like 10 and no fucking way that picture was taken in 2010
>>
Internet was more free before jews censored everthing. They are behind all anti freedom of speech laws
>>
>>215356455
That picture was taken in mid 90s I think. I was born in 04 and never used or saw a CRT monitor.
>>215352053
Definitely not, any other generation that's still living and older is better.

It looks like 2000-2001. His hardware is a bit dated by that point but the screen interface and his clothing looks like early 00's

I think that's windows 3.11 though, my guess is the early latter half of the 90s
>>

that frosted glass wall thingy screams that it was installed in the 80s or early 90s too
I miss this aesthetic so much bros
>>
>>215352053
>old school
>was 3-7 years old when the iPhone first came out
>>
>>215352053
Born and barely experienced any of it. The average zoomer back then was too busy being terrified of the closet monster or wondering how they'd peed the bed.
>>
>>215352053
Lol no. By your definition, the best year is being born in the 1990s.
>>
>>215352053
I know its sad but you're forever a zoomie, cope
>>
dude you're literally a generation of virgins
>>
>>215352053
>zoomer with retarded opinion
The ones from mid 1990s had that good blend. You weren’t sentient to know what was going on.
>>
>>215352053
Nobody born in 2004 has ever used a PC that had a CRT monitor.
>>

late 90s and early 00s was a great era when the internet existed but didn't take over people's lives
>>
>>215352053
Someone born in 2004 wouldn’t even remember the 2000s. What would they remember, 2009?

I feel like I was the tail end of old-school and I was born in 1996. Also, that photo was probably taken in like 1995
>>
>>215352053
Lmao transvestite generation.
>>
>>215353235
Nigga your ass was broke. Everybody had windows 10 in 2015. Are you the fucking gov railway company?

This but 1998-2002
I started my childhood with VHS tapes and learning how to read and write saving .doc files on floppy disks. I used to spend my time making "games" and little stories on powerpoint because dialup internet was too slow to enjoy and you couldnt browse all the time because of the bills. Then I got CDs, DVDs, adobe flash games, 3D games, modern internet, MSN messager, Orkut (protofacebook).

2001
i grew up with CRTs, my ps2 and some 90s consoles my cousin had
the first package i ever received was a spiderman (2002) VHS when i was like 5
it was pretty common for third worlders to grow up with decade old technology, nowadays everything is more globalized and industries actually notice we exist, so kids can get newer stuff
>>
>>215352053
The one thing I would agree on is that this generation of zoomers are computer literate in a way younger people are not.
When I was younger it was assumed that all younger people would get increasingly better with computing. but that seemed to have regressed
>>
>>215362615
in a way they did get better, but only because everyone became obsessed with having a supercomputer in their pocket at all times
>>
I was born in 1990, so I experienced both remnants of soviet-style communism and modern stuff like smartphones.
The other day I was talking to my 2007-born nephew who showed me photos of his class and such. He couldn't comprehend how I barely have any photos of my school days, because cameras were a rarity back then. Only once a year a photographer would come to take a photo of the class. I lost my hard copies when I moved, and now I don't remember the faces of my crush and most of my friends..

This lmfao. Speaking as someone who grew up in Croatia at the time, we already had Windows 7 in 2009 and the one Windows 98 computer we had at school felt like ancient technology.

Most of us did use the PS2 up until the PS4 came out though. At least from my perspective the PS3/Xbox 360 generation got completely skipped over in Croatia unless you had relatives living abroad who could buy you a Nintendo console or something
>>
>>215352053
This but 1993-1997
>>
>>215352068
He's right though, I was born in it too
>>
>>215363101
They are better at navigating an ipad or a random tablet. kids today are specialized, but give them a pc and they can't work it logically.
>>
>>215361576
I got win 10 on the same laptop I was using XP in 2015, those PCs we had were more than win 7 and 10 ready. I was a kid and too young to know how to install an OS and my dad was a tech guy that didn't buy pre builds with pre installed windows so we used win XP until 2015.
I stand with what I said about east euros not having the same level of tech as the west, another example is bluray never becoming mainstream outside of console games.
