I was born in 1990, so I experienced both remnants of soviet-style communism and modern stuff like smartphones. The other day I was talking to my 2007-born nephew who showed me photos of his class and such. He couldn't comprehend how I barely have any photos of my school days, because cameras were a rarity back then. Only once a year a photographer would come to take a photo of the class. I lost my hard copies when I moved, and now I don't remember the faces of my crush and most of my friends..

Most of us did use the PS2 up until the PS4 came out though. At least from my perspective the PS3/Xbox 360 generation got completely skipped over in Croatia unless you had relatives living abroad who could buy you a Nintendo console or something
