After 1 day, the food has to be thrown in the bin so as to avoid the company being prosecuted if any customers get food poisoning. I've been giving the dried food out to other colleagues at the warehouse and gave some to a charity that feeds homeless people. It's either that or it goes to waste. Apparently that constitutes theft, so I could be fired for not wanting to waste food and doing something nice for people.
