Which Austro-Hungarian division would you rather live in, Cisleithania, Transleithania, or Bosnia and Herzegovina?
Galicia was peak, imagine living in Lemberg VGHH
>>215362710it says here we wuz western europe
obviously Cisleithania
Austrian part minus Dalmatia and Galicia > Hungarian part > Dalmatia > Galicia > hell > Bosnia
>>215362839>Austrian part minus Dalmatia and GaliciaYou have selected the Duchy of Bukovina
>>215362839Let me guess, you are "Gothic"?
>>215362931I should have said all the eastern parts of Austria bordering instead of just Galicia and Lodomeria, that's what I meant
>>215363034Not that guy but the Austrian part along with Slovenia and Bohemia was by far the best part of the empire
>>215363318Slovenia was always very provincial part of the Austrian empire. It was the exact opposite of the industrialized Bohemia
>>215362710I choose VENEDIG
>>215358061>uhrm I'm actually a victimdonating another 200€ to magyars bird specifically for you, delusional cuntyour government/dictator/people are the aggressors and perpetratorsthis shit is very close to being black and white which is rarely the case usually with these thingsyou're not guilty if you're not a ziggerbut you still have some degree of responsibility in a civil and ethical/philosophical senseso take your responsibility and welcome to the clubif you support the invasion of ukraine disregard the above, in that case i wish you death and misery
>>215362839Bosnia was super cool thoimagine spinning a pig on the roast
>>215363532Being more rural doesn't necessarily mean it's worse. Even today Slovenia feels decentralized in a sense where even small towns and villages have quality services and opportunities.
>>215363703How often do you get these emotional outbursts?
>>215363532just because something is provincial doesn't mean it cannot be best, you don't really need polluting industry to live well
>>215362756just imagine...
>>215363726>where even small towns and villages have quality services and opportunities.Yes because of roads and cars allow people to travel so distance matters less. This was not like that 150 years ago>>215363748There is a reason why people flocked to the cities during the industrial revolution. Before that a lot of the rural areas were also very densely populated. Again, you are thinking of modern times where anyone can get in a car and drive anywhere that gives them access to education, healthcare, jobs. Was very different back then
>>215363853>There is a reason why people flocked to the cities during the industrial revolution.I don't think many Slovenes moved to Czech cities, really. They liked it in their countryside, apparently. Or their small towns provided them enough quality jobs to sustain their high living standards.
>>215363895>Slovenes inhabited most of Carniola, the southern part of the duchies of Carinthia and Styria, the northern and eastern areas of the Austrian Littoral, as well as Prekmurje in the Kingdom of Hungary.[38] Industrialization was accompanied by construction of railroads to link cities and markets, but the urbanization was limited. Due to limited opportunities, between 1880 and 1910 there was extensive emigration; around 300,000 Slovenes (1 in 6) emigrated to other countries,[39] mostly to the US, but also to South America (the main part to Argentina), Germany, Egypt, and to larger cities in Austria-Hungary, especially Vienna and Graz.
>>215362710>Karlovy varyy>Opatija>anywhere in the alps>smaller regional capitals like Esseg and Agram and Laibach Peak comf
>>215363981those who immigrated to Vienna didn't really move to work in factories but to gain education I guess
>>215364387Probably both. But cities used to be all about the industry. Even just going back a few decades the shore around Manhattan and Brooklyn was full of docks. Only in the past few decades cities became about office jobs and bike lines as opposed to industry and factories.
>>215364564On the West Coast in the US a lot of areas that are nowadays public beaches used to be industry and oil fields. There is reason why going back 100 years no one cared about having a sea side view. No one actually wanted to live near the sea as it was polluted and dirty.
>>215364231>anywhere in the alpsyoure just a peasant then, just maybe up on a pasture
>>215365285You could be a provincial noble or a craftsman.
