This cost £46 in the UK, many Americans are absolutely stunned saying it would cost at least $150 there.

How are food prices and quality in YOUR country?
>>
>>215375006
post the receipt, no way all of that is £46, it's not even that cheap here let alone in the UK. a steak, minced meat and 3 packs of chicken thighs would already be 25-30
>>
>honor and privileged of living in the UK
>willingly eat mexican and indian slop
Holy fuck
>>
>>215375087
We simply have a superior food industry to any other nation on the planet, the price/quality ratio is unbeatable.

*throws some Reichsmarks on the floor near you*

go buy yourself something "nice" from aldi x

you suffer in Germany
>>
>>215375006
Chicken thighs and microwavable rice are honestly great budget foods. A lot of people are just bad at shopping on the cheap.
>>
>>215375146
hahah sure bud, cant even post the receipt. i know you're full of shit since i've seen british prices. no other nation in the world can top germany in food production. well we dont have a tesco here and you do have all of our supermarkets
>>
>>215375006
It's cheap because it's whole foods, most american grocery hauls i see are overpriced ultra processed flavored assortments of seed oils
>>
>>215375006
For that amount, that seems like a bargain even for standards here
And from what I notice, you have a pretty clean and healthy diet, little to no slop
>>
Also steaks DO NOT belong with BBQ sauce. Steak is not smoked brisket
>>
>>215375006
I worked in a supermarket in lockdown and this would have cost like £100 back then. Dark times
>>
>>215375203
>post the receipt
it's a reddit image

>no other nation in the world can top germany in food production
your food is ubiquitous with ultra processed meat trash here, usually made from mystery slop gathered from eastern europe. I'm sorry but you can't beat LOCAL british and irish farmers
>>
>>215375266
>local
yea sure bud it says local on the plastic wrap from the crappy supermarket it must be true and fully healthy
>>
>>215375286
now you're just going into completely irrational cope, this is a first world country nobody is selling "fake origin" meat like a wet market

>>215375006
Bro thats like 60 bucks here chicken thighs oh we eating good
>>
>>215375266
why would we sell our leftover meat to germany? what?
>>
>>215375368
>>215375006
you could save even more if you buy whole Chickens and butcher them yourself
>>
>>215375266
>reddit

>>
>>215375087

The weather, cheap grocery prices.. You never svffer in the UK
>>
>Texas BBQ style stake
Fake news. Do not invoke our name like this, peasant.

You can get a pound of gammon from Iceland for £1 easily. Half a kilo of spaghetti is 20p, same with a can of baked beans or spaghetti hoops. A large loaf of bread is 55p. You could life off £5 for a week easily.
>>
>>215377428
how though ? that's literally the cheapest country for grocery shopping. are the prices universal across country ? would those cost the same in london as they would in cambridge or newcastle ?
>>
>>215377475
I live in London, these are London prices from my local Lidl. I thought that was one of your stores, surely you have similar prices in Germany?
>>
>>215375087
i guess it could be true but then its torture meat. its the meat and chicken that makes me want to call bs on OP
>>
>>215377612
similar yes but still a bit higher. spaghetti is certainly not 20 cents and neither is a loaf of bread but i guess im also not buying the cheapest things
