Croatian village (left) and a Slovenian village (right). The Slovenian village has faster internet and slightly newer cars, however this is one of the rare cases where a small Croatian village has a still functioning factory and manufacturing which products are sold at Bauhaus.
shit is fairy land to medose anyone own that forest, can I build a cabin in there
>>215385024Croatian law is pretty complicated and there's a lot of bureaucracy. If the land doesn't already have private owners it's owned by the state so you'll need to own that land, get a permit to build etc. My guess is that it's similar in Slovenia.
Are there any Slovenian workers in the Croatian factory?

>>215385024Most forests here are owned by the church actually, but a lot of it is private land as well. I personally own some forest, you can build a tiny cabin, but it really can't be bigger than a tool shed otherwise you will need a permit for it
>>215385222this is not LatAm, buildings are made of good, dependable brick and mortar here
>>215385200idk but there was a Slovenian girl working at a cafe in another neighboring village on the Croatian sideUsually Croats go work in nearby Slovenian places but not further because the wage is not that much higher to be worth the travel. If they go further it's usually Austria or some German country with noticeably higher wages.>>215385222In general Slovenes have higher suicide rates but Croats live shorter more unhealthy lives
