Did Russian culture get cancelled in your country because of the war?
>>215385438It was canceled here in 1917
>>215385438Yes, we closed a lot of HIV clinics
>>215385464Apparently treating hiv is not a problem in western countries because they let people with it everywhere, every european has hiv
>>215385487you are european too sasha, even if you dont like to face that fact...
>>215386109She's Asian
>>215385438You can tell the owners are likely Jews or churkas
>>215386209This is russian propaganda
>>215385438no there are more of them than ever
>>215385438No, we have a fairly big diaspora. Although I heard they hate the Ukrainian diaspora now. It’s funny how a Jew from Kharkiv and a Volga German from Kazakhstan will throw shit at each other despite both living here for 30 years.
>>215385438>coffee>desserts>breakfast>restaurant>bar>bistroclassic sign of struggling poorly run restaurant. Throw everything against the wall and see what sticks.99% of Americans don’t care about Russia one way or the other
The signs can be subtle. One day I was watching tennis and saw that the Russian athletes had their flag and country name blacked out. I thought that was shitty and immature.
Russian culture is next to non existent here. All I can think of is some major cities having a tiny import shop
I don't think there was any except a few restaurants Still open
>>215387666nobody wants to deal with russians anymore LOL
>>215385438there was never any Russian 'culture' in my country
>>215385438Chicken Kiev was renamed to Chicken Kyiv
>>215385438I don't think they've been cancelled. But some friends which have russian workmates noticed that they kept their mouth closed regarding the war as if they were under surveillance.
>>215388747>as if they were under surveillance.Yes, under euro surveillance. Having a positive opinion of Putin or a negative opinion of Khokholstan gets you ostrasized here.t. Russian
A Russian restaurant in Stockholm changed the description from "Russian" to "Eastern European". Not the greatest PR country right now.
Also got rid of all the Russian references here. Russia wasn't so much hated as kind of a meme country before Ukraine. Russian propaganda probably wants to portray it as if le evil West always hated everything Russian.
NYC has been crazy about it. One of my favorite bars there is KGB themed and they had to put Ukraine flags everywhere so that they wouldn't get hated on for the Russian adjacency.
>>215385438I know a Russian restaurant, it was a bit deserted when the war first started, but it's all okay now. Our president tends to be openly critical of EU and NATO aiding Ukraine without being pro-Russian, but there's an occassional pro-Russian Croat around, and as time passed, a lot of people started seeing Ukrainians as too whiny, needy and demanding. Plus, Ukrainian refugees can be annoying. Russian tourists are also annoying, though. The current stance is more like "fuck them both, not my problem".
